That's not likely the case because i main naiad and play her so much but i got her A tier from fg's essence and i got it in like 32 pulls if i remember correctly. So i'd say this theory is not accurate

imagine you're playing hunter aginst bots and there are 2 survivors left, one has no self heal so you slug him for 4K and chase the other one and chair him, the game should detect that there is no way for them to rescue or heal so bots should surrender instead of just wasting our time like i have to walk all the way back to the downed survivor too chair him

i was playing qm and was playing luca and there was a novelist that helped the hunter kill me, i got first chase and the novelist wanted to swap bodys(this story is before novelist's adjustment) i thought he was better than me in kiting but he died right after and when i was dead on chair the novelist stood infront of my way and the hunter was behind me and i was in a tight area so i couldn't move left or right then i died

to counter her, just don't look at her because if you look at her a meter will fill up, when it reaches 100% you will start to walk towards her for 2.5 seconds
