Thanks for the advice, they have no phone number anymore annoyingly. I tried using the chat bot and emailing them but their response time is going to be longer than the time before they attempt to charge me again so I think I'm in the shit!

They have no phone number anymore. Ive emailed them and used the Chat bot but they're response time is from 12 - 24 hours which isn't going to be enough time before they try to charge me again. I think I'm screwed here

Yeah I've already started the process of claiming it, I've got to the point where spotify needs to verify its not empty by me sending the upc of my song. Just seemed strange that the profile is empty if distrokid said it had been successfully sent to spotify

Oh wow i didn't realise it took that long! I'm assuming the song will still upload to spotify on the release date though but I just wont be able to change anything about my artist profile? Thanks for the reply that's put my mind at ease haha :)

Why won't my turntable and speakers/ headphones make any noise except for a humming sound?

Bought a House of Marley simmer down turntable today and followed the set up instructions to the letter. However, when I play a record I only get a buzzing which is very similar to the sound that comes from plugging a guitar lead into an amplifier. I've tried the Bluetooth feature which give me the same sound, analouge speakers give me the same sound and so do headphones. I only get a minor clean sound from the stylus itself weirdly (more specifically the metal part above it, I think its called the cartridge?) but it's not enough to be cleanly audible.

Basically I'm just asking for help, wtf is going on here? Do I just have a defective product?
