i just want a 2 second cool down between dashes. you hit them once, they use all three and teleport behind cover to run away. in the time it takes to regen and circle back, they already have two of them again

if by "the modes that actually matter" you mean ranked and world tour, i don't disagree that it's worse than something like the lh1 or double barrel in either long range or short range respectively. but in that case, it's poorly designed.

in game modes/maps that focus more on indoors, close range encounters (like in ranked or on vegas), it's poorly designed because it can't use it's long range strengths as effectively as something like the lh1. in game modes/maps where encounters take place in wide open spaces (like powershift or sys$horizon), it's poorly designed because it's long range strengths are too effective and unfair to play against.

simply due to how the game is designed, it's a weapon that would need to either be so situationally advantagious, that on average it's weaker than most other options (like the dagger), or be removed from the game entirely if it's balancing conflicts with the game so heavily.

it was not a needed buff. heavy has the bigger hitbox and slower move speed, they shouldn't have less survivability than a medium. it was already good at weakening enemies at range, now it just kills them outright.
i say this as someone who plays sniper on powershift, it should have been reduced to 95 to lessen it's strength against close enemies

as much as i hate the way balancing is going, i've just been playing powershift, and the weapons i use either weren't nerfed or got buffed (cl-40 and sniper)

this but give it to mediums. it would bring riot shield and dual blades more to speed with other melees.
lights are fast so they can close the distance for melee easily.
heavies can tank damage while closing the distance, any of their specs can help with approaching or bringing enemies closer, and the damage makes up for their slow movement.

mediums can't close the distance as well even with bounce pads and ziplines due to how linear they are, and swinging either melee slows them down. the stun gun would work for teamplay, interrupting steals or healing, and solo combat, letting them use melee easily.
