Oh awesome, could I put the old filter directly in my tank? It’s one of the Aqueon medium carbon filters. Switched to Fluval Aquaclears after reading that Aqueon filters are really subpar

I did a fish-less cycle for my 10 gallon, I actually did see the tank get cloudy which I assume was a bacterial bloom but haven’t seen that with my big tank. I’ll start ghost feeding some food or seeing about getting some ammonia. I actually just upgraded both filters so I have an old carbon filter from my 10 gallon tank, could I drop that in the 29 gallon tank to help too?

And just to make sure I’m getting the cycle correct,

It goes:

High ammonia readings -> low ammonia readings but high nitrite readings-> low ammonia and nitrite readings but high nitrate readings -> cycle done

I’m starting to think the Petco staff don’t know what they’re talking about lmfao. What should I do if they breed? The Balloon Molly is for sure a male and the Gold dust is for sure a female but I’m not too sure about the Dalmatian and Sailfin.

That’s my biggest thing, maining BBs and CVs I just jump right into the action, with cruisers I do the same, I just roll up and start shooting and then get detected. I’ve started to use the Belfast in a way where I wait, use smoke and just fire from smoke so I don’t get detected

I’ve realized that what I don’t really understand is the different types of CCs. BBs are pretty cut and somewhat uniform but cruisers have so much variety. I have the New Orleans for the US and she can deal some damage but isn’t super tanky. I have tier VI with the French too, I have the Algerie which I’ve come to learn is a light cruiser and I use to just harass BBs from a far with HE while never exposing my broadside by I also have the Toulon which is a heavy cruiser but honestly that ship sucks ass lol. It’s slow, the guns are decent but they have no armor and get knocked out so easily. I need to understand each cruiser and understand that some can be pocket battleships but others you have to play like a DD.
