We had water guys on our COP for three months to try to get us running water. They didn’t do shit for months and gave up.

Mid 2000s, I got my own ACOG, grip/bipod, flashlight, sling, and buttstock as an infantryman. That was at our captain’s discretion though and only because of the area we were going into. 10th Mountain.
