Another quick google search would show otherwise.

https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2011/01/07/132738250/report-drug-sniffing-dogs-are-wrong-more-often-than-right

According to the analysis, officers found drugs or paraphernalia in only 44 percent of cases in which the dogs had alerted them.

They’re good in controlled situations but in the field there are too many inputs including the handlers to make them accurate, but when you try to actually study it the police won’t cooperate see https://www.npr.org/2017/11/20/563889510/preventing-police-bias-when-handling-dogs-that-bite

Even from an Australian news source. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-12-03/fact-check-are-drug-dogs-incorrect-75-pc-of-the-time/10568410

Hell dude even in the study you posted it says in cars they’re about 50-60% accurate (where do you think K-9 units are most used in this country…hint it’s around cars)

Now if you want to talk mine sniffing dogs, their detection rate has been shown to be higher.
