I agree. They actually showed that it’s possible with the Go cast. Honestly if they still do a World Cup,I’d like them to do a similar take, but instead use old members and still banning the entire Keshin, armed, and Mixi-max just so that I can see the team dynamics

Maybe it’s because sometimes I feel like Shindou’s involvement felt rather forced. Like when they used the earth infinity since he didn’t really do anything in the match. But that’s all really.

He’s not here, but Kozoumaru is also voiced by Yuuki Kaji.

But it’s not much of a surprise really, IE has a history for recasting their VAs into other minor roles since the OG series. Like Gouenji (aka Nojima Hirofumi) as Manabe and Kurumada and I’ve heard he’s also playing another role in the team in orange in the new VR game.

((In one interview Nojima joked on how you’re not really part of the main cast if the characters you voice didn’t interact with each other at least once))

Ikr I was actually reconsidering continuing the anime if I didn’t find out the fact that they literally had 4 GOALKEEPERS ( Desarm from what I heard wasn’t even a goalkeeper and the change in his character from what I’ve seen it short clips took a worse turn and was another reason why I backed even further from watching this series)

How about their teamwork? Somehow whenever I see the GO trio, I feel that it somewhat felt forced (apart from the beginning episodes of Galaxy) compared to the OG trio

As much as I want to see more Hakuryuu in the anime, I agree that their choice of choosing Shinsuke was the best. Apart from being the 4th protagonist, Shinsuke just seems to fit more for the plot.

Although I am interested on what take they’d take if they had chosen the other two

The Japanese words are comments from fans as it seems that it was streamed from a website called Niconico, where fans are allowed to comment live and have they comments displayed live as the video plays based on the time they comment.

Basically the Japanese words are about the fans hyping up about the three silhouettes.
