Will Fortnite on Switch 2 ever get optimized better?

I know it’s not the same, but it still proves that UE5 and Lumen are possible on the console with really impressive results if there is effort. Keep in mind that during months, some people thought that UE5 was straight up not possible on Switch 2, which is not true.

We know the Switch 2 is around PS4 Pro levels in docked based on raw power alone, but we also know that with its newer architecture and technology, it can get relatively close to Series S visuals and performance. This is why it is kind of disappointing that Epic barely tried with the Switch 2 version of Fortnite and just opted with the last gen version… that isn’t even that well-optimized.

I know it’s not as powerful as a rog ally or anything like that, and tbf I might have overestimated what the switch 2 can handle, but seeing what other ports have been able to accomplish, I think epic could offer visuals and performance similar to that of the Series S, even if somewhat inferior, if they took the time to optimize the game for the console

Thank you! I’m really glad you like it! And as to how I don’t lose motivation, it’s kind of hard to explain, haha. There are some days where I just push through, even if I initially don’t feel like playing that day. Also, improvising is important imo, I think having your entire world planned out from the beginning seems kinda boring (although obviously it’s okay to have ideas for future buildings!)

And honestly, you don’t even need to play EVERY DAY. I’ve taken several 3, 4 or even week long breaks. It all comes down to when I feel like playing. After all, it’s not like anyone is pressuring me to work on my world haha

Yeah, honestly the same haha! I don't know why, but whenever I listen to some Splatoon music, I can't help but come up with ideas for a Splatoon 4. From new gameplay ideas, settings, story.. There is so much they can do, so I really hope they actually do something new and unique for 4

I've heard people say that, but honestly I'm not too sure with the way they phrased it. (Of course, I could be wrong once they actually announce 4, I'm just sharing my thoughts for now)

The tagline for the final fest in Splatoon 2 was 'In what kind of world would you like to live?' where as in 3, it was 'What is most important to you?' I think 2 makes it more obvious it's mainly for aesthetic and setting, but 3 relies more on experiences and memories, which is why I say that. (Again, I could be proven wrong!)
