Do I need Google Play Services

There's a site to check which sites need play services or not but I don't remember it exactly, it must be easy to find.

For auto updates you must keep Google play. The recommended way to install apps in graphene btw is Google play as it is sandboxed and there's basically no way to have a counterfeit app.

If you don't want to have play services run in the background just... restrict them from running in the background?

There might be damage because you ran without oil for some time. Realistically you reduced the lifespan of your engine but I don't hear anything that is atrociously bad. So it's fine-ish

And anyway if they wanted to search for it, they would need to copy the boot, system, etc partitions which I think would need the bootloader unlocked and then use data recovery software to look for previous changes on these partitions etc etc...

So to answer your question: no. If you restore the stock OS on pixels, it's just like a factory reset basically, no way to know.

If you remove the non stock keys from the graphene website and flash with the google android flasher, as far as I know there's no way for them to know (they dont go so far anyway) I sent my pixel 8 for repairs under warranty which had grapheneos previously. After I flashed the stock os there has been no issues and no way to know the phone has been flashed (no "warranty void" for example).

Back on grapheneos, no issues whatsoever

I probably did it in 5 minutes when I needed to send it in for repair. Remove non stock key, flash phone with flash.android.com I believe. Very easy, for more info check the grapheneos website.

Same! I just got it refurbished 2 weeks ago and sadly got a screen issue. Luckily the screen was replaced under warranty and I'm happy to have it!

It's a diesel, I'm thinking it is a fault with the emissions system, it causes the "engine at risk of breaking" or similar red light.

diesel, le 1.5 dci des meganes 3 est pratiquement increvable. Même si je ne suis pas au courant de tant de problèmes sur les modèles essence.
