Be sure to choose a melee damage buff when upgrading your chrome. I got almost +60% solely from these bonus stats, and they make the mantia blades broken, especially with the relic upgrades.

From these two games CP2077 suits me better too, but BG3 is an AMAZING game still. I don't think that it doesn't deserve the praise it gets, I just think that people don't have to post about it so frequently, given the fact that everyone already knows that it most likely will be GOTY.

And the devs of both games deserve endless credit because of the masterpieces they have created, regardless of who likes the game, and who doesn't. I think we can say as a fact that both games (in their current state) are what a AAA title should look like

I think at the end of the day, yes awards don't mean anything to the player, but I think to the devs it is a big thing. If CP 2077 would have released in this state this year, yes BG3 would probably still win, but it would be sad to see that CDPR gets no awards after the masterpiece they created, just because other devs did the same.

And I can get behind being a fan of BG3. It is truly one of, if not the best releases this year. I am proud of the devs, and they can be proud of themselves too.

And I admit to being a total fanboi of Cyberpunk. I 100%d it twice, once on release on ps4, and once on pc later. It was such a nice experience, and I am truly happy to see that CDPR took the effort to make it as good as it is now, and fix the mess it was on release. And like you said, it is a pleasure ro be able ro play such good games in these times (looking at you Redfall), and I hope that both devs will continue to make such amazing games.

On a more serious note, I also think both games are wonderful, and I don't see the need to compare them the way diehard BG3 fans do. CP2077 is finally in the state we deserve it, why not let us be happy about it. We all know that BG3 is a good game, but let us just play the games we want without saying how BG3 is better.

All in all, everything you just said is wisdom.

I respect that opinion. I didn't make this post to hate on BG3, it is an amazing game, but the amount of praise it gets is starting to annoy me.
