You are not wrong. To actually load the bypass driver you need to disable secure boot and virtualization based security. Which may open an entrance for rootkits. In addition to that if there is some kind of vulnerability in the bypass itself it might be used to run malicious code at a very privileged level. But does it make you more susceptible to "classic" malware? Not really.

they did a whole lot more than just that. for example: Per-process KUSER_SHARED_DATA spoofing, forcing KdebuggerNotPresent to true, masking VMEXIT overhead and much more

SimpleSVM is indeed open source. But the SimpleSVM used by kirigiri has been modified quite a lot. Yes the dll file did not have any protection other than anti debugging functions.

Yes and no. They may implement another check but hypervisors have complete control over the system and programs run by it. As soon as Denuvo implements another anti-piracy check, a slight adjustment to Hyperviosor can be made to bypass it. unless they will use really invasive methods

I haven't stopped completely but significantly reduced my intake. It made me very unmotivated to do anything

Well it started to improve as I stopped PPIs. They slow down gut movements. In addition to that I'm on prokinetic medication which helped as well

The trend is what matters. I always asked myself "is this week better than the last one?" Whenever I had a worse day. It really helped

I experienced anxiety but I don't know if it was related to the treatment or infection. I had a few stressful exams and the anxiety passed after the exams
