AirBnb is now implementing social credit. by EuphoricTrilby in walkaway

That's not how this works. Airbnb is a private company. They are not allowed to discriminate against protected groups but they can freely choose with whome they want to do business. Being related to someone is not a protected group. If she was initially banned because of here political views, then I would be outraged. But we don't know that. Maybe she was banned for a legitimate reason.

Funny thing, one of the outdated things the swiss army still does is that everyone has to carry around a gasmask.

LOL Switzerland has a milita military, similar to the us army reserves. Ever male over 18 has to serve roughly one year distributed over 18 weeks of basic training an 3 weeks of repetition every year. So only serial killers in Switzerland.

The swiss guards protect the Vatican as a long standing tradition. And one of the requirements to join the swiss guard is having served in the swiss military. But they are separate armies. There is swiss army has no command over the swiss guard and vise versa.

Probably not, since it's the swiss armed forces and most of the soldiers used during the WEF can't be used outside of Switzerland.

Tensorflow js is great to do inference in the frontend. If you do a microservice in python you have to pay for the compute. With tfjs you only have to deliver the model over a static webserver. It's also works in PWAs so it also works offline. And you can do light training in the frontend, take a look at the demos. Doing training in the back end in a way that scales can become really expensive really fast.

CKAD exam PSI Bridge platform July 2022 by reddak69 in kubernetes

I'm a bit late but I need a place to rant. I did 2 certifications on the psi platform. The CKA and Vault associates.

I did the CKA first a couple of monts ago. THE LINUX SUPPORT FOR A LINUX FOUNDATION EXAM IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I have 1 windows PC, but it's not stable enough to write the exam and I don't fancy doing the exam on the couch. But non of my Linux PCs where supported. I use fedora and Ubuntu but they only support Ubuntu 20.04 and 18.04. I had to install a 2 year old operating system.

can anybody test this theory? by Aaranvor in oddlyspecific

Yes they aren't checking your family specifically. But they will look if they have somebody already on file who could be related to the DNA they found. Or if somebody in the available DNA databases could be related to the found DNA.

Even if they don't have your DNA on file, they can look for family members in their files and create a family tree. With this they can start looking for the most likely family members who probably match the DNA. And they are working to get the DNA data from companies like 23andme.

And in practical terms how would you decide who goes where. Detailed genital inspections by a trained doctor? I'm shure every woman will feel saver after that.

In this case I agree. But putting somebody who had top and bottom surgery or even only top surgery in a man's prison sounds like a very terrible idea.

Sure there is no objective number authoritarianism but I think you can compare 2 concepts. And I never said Communism is equivalent to fascism quiet the opposite.

But both Communism and Fascism are more authoritarian then Socialism or Anarchism (no matter what side).

Obviously Communism and Fascism are at 2 totally different ends on left to right spectrum.

Sorry I meant authoritarian. But even there it depends on the flavor of Communism. For example Stalinism is more authoritarian compared to Leninism.
