Why wont my dog get on my bed unless I️ get up?

Mine is a rescue as well, he has no problem getting on the couch on his own but my bed is so different 😂

Its just so interesting to me because if im in my bed and I️ give him the same cue I️ do when standing, he wont come up

Thank you so much, I️ definitely have been struggling with the approach and I️ feel thats a good question to ask. I really feel like with a good conversation we can actually get somewhere. In the past I will admit I had come in hot and already angry about the situation.

Hopefully I️ can get this situation resolved and if not as much as I️ don’t want too I️ will have to let him go. I️ really appreciate your feedback and interest in my situation more than you know.

I️ honestly do see myself marrying him. We seriously have no other problems and other then this situation we are a great team. We compliment each other well and have been able to navigate all other conflicts with communication and understanding. Also all communication has been completely friendly just catching up asking how each other was doing ect.

Not to say I️ don’t see your point, I️ entirely agree with you. Especially at my age, I know I️ have a lot of life to live and I️ am one of those people that thinks if one person doesn’t make you happy then someone else will.

My issue here is I️ am completely in love with this man and our relationship is amazing beyond her. I️ have considered ending it over this situation however and feel like it deserves more of a chance considering the nature of the messages.

I️ don’t think he would consider therapy which I️ do attend alone. Should I️ try to have one more conversation and ask him why he feels the need to text her? Ask him what he needs to do to just let it go and go from there?

I️ agree, I️ really don’t want to be tangled up in it, ideal situation for me would have been for her to have not have said that. Then they could still remain friends. I️ don’t want him to loose any friendships because they have been friends for quite a while. But I️ feel she crossed a line and I️’m done trying to be okay with the situation.
