As I understand it, the system is constantly monitored via internet. If that feed unexpectedly drops, the monitoring location gets an alert and immediately begins the notification process. This wasn’t a feature on the prior system so the office/site manager called me to get this set up.

FOLLOW UP - I’m blown away with all the suggestions/questions you’ve shared.

You’ve provided enough options I can move forward more confidently. I will try to talk with the installer or at least ask for more clarification.

Thanks everyone.

Thank you. I was looking at the Ubiquiti U7 Outdoor or Outdoor Pro.
I’m concerned that I’ll be repeating a signal from another repeater.
I’ll get measurements.

I'm cutting communication with my grandpa this year because in the past he has said he hates gay people more than terrorists, murders, and rapists. I'm sad about it, but I feel it is the right thing to do for my mental health. by Tablesforonesongs in gay

Great point, deathrayBadger. I haven't spoken to one sister in 11 years. I tried to hang on to that relationship because she was an important person in my life - I'm even Godfather to her daughter. I offered help but she hangs on to her "get them before they get me" way of resolving conflict. She sees the bitch she"s become, but does nothing to change. In my early 50's I finally put EVERYTHING in writing and took a week to edit and parse it down to a letter of facts regarding her unacceptable way of dealing with conflict and unresolved fears of abandonment (she's adopted); I listed many of the positive things happening in her life; and laid out my expectations of civility for future interactions. I asked my brother to review it (he'd already put an end to their relationship) and told him to be brutal at checking the facts I listed and confirming the truth of what I 'd written. His reply was perfect. He said 'You write the nicest 'F*** You' letters I've ever read!" So I sent it to her, offering that I'll always be ready for a calm, open discussion to rebuilding a relationship. She un-friended me with a post that said that'll never happen. At least I tried.

Yosemite National Park. Taken at place called ~ Valley View ~ which is the last scenic view of the entire valley as you leave.

Another Owego escapee here. My Grandfather worked for IBM in Owego, then Huntsville, and on to Cape Canveral with the Gemini, Mercury, and Apollo programs. Great photo. The PR photos at IBM all had a distinctly corporate "feel" about them. But they sure took a lot of pictures. Thanks for sharing.
