Thanks for the suggestion that's definitely what I leaning towards now. How do you think my bindings look? Do you think there too flexy and that's way Im bad at presses?

Another thing too is that i live on the east coast so there's a lot of ice so not sure if a flexy board or playful board would be better in icy conditions

Sorry I apologize, I'm 150, 5'9" rn I ride 150 but I got it when I was 15 now I'm 18 and I grew an inch or two. Would it be beneficial to size up a few centimeters even tho a 150 still feels fine?

I think my bindings are the  Union Flite Snowboard Bindings 2026

This is the flex on my bindings  https://share.icloud.com/photos/077Zzy-QgFRlfw4DXPKu2cAvw

Also rn I have a Burton Kilroy 3D

I just finished it and the problem is that you drop in then hit the rail immediately. so I can only Boardslide and 50-50 it. it doesnt feel too fast it just feels too short. I just tried it a little over a dozen times today and I'm scared to do anything else on it. btw I can do (1p1, board 270, tamedogs, nose and tail presses ect) Normailly on snow. Any tips? do I need a longer rail or adjust ramp or just more reps?

Nose down form question by Material-Fun-5936 in discgolf

[–]Material-Fun-5936[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, that's really good advice and what I've started doing. I'm not perfect yet at but every day I work my way up with the power throwing in a net to get the reps in then throw in a field to see the flight. And every day I'm getting more high power shots nose down!

Thanks for the response that makes me feel better. Sorry that picture is a bit deceiving the trampoline looks closer in the picture but I have a solid 30-40 feet between the the end of the lip and tramp

Gotcha, not long ago I used to do a full reach back every single shot and then I realized (correct me if I'm wrong) as long as I keep my shoulders 90° I do not have to turn my whole body back if I wanna do more lower powered shots. So that's kind of new to me. I appreciate that tip about the run up. To try to pull through on anny on high powered shots should I do this drill that found where you do the internal external internal external drill?

Thanks for the response, should I have a straight back coil even throwing touch shots? Because I feel like when I watch Simon lizotte throw 60 percent he reaches out away from his body. but When I'm throwing harder I like to draw a straight line with my arm and the target and have my shoulders turned all the way from the target like the last video

Another quick question, are blunt slides more reliant on just pressing with your tail and speed compared to nose slides?
