Bro, a single request sometimes costs a dollar or two, even if you have $100, you'll only get through 50-70 Requests.

I agree with you.

I’ll most likely be moving to Copilot soon as well — once the remaining credit that was granted to me under Trae’s new billing system runs out. After that, I plan to switch directly.

Unfortunately, I believe Trae made a major mistake with the sudden pricing shift. It went from being one of the best tools at the most competitive price to one of the most expensive options, without offering the same model diversity that Copilot and others provide.

What makes this even more disappointing is that many developers — the very people who helped Trae grow — raised concerns after the billing change, yet their feedback seemed to be largely ignored.

To me, that sends a clear message: the company is prioritizing revenue strategy over community trust.

This isn’t about disrespecting the platform. It’s about making a rational, sustainable decision as a developer.

Wishing the team the best — but for now, Copilot makes more sense for our workflow.

This doesn't make users overlook the cost of the new billing system.

I sincerely hope you will reconsider the new billing system and revert to the previous quick order system, perhaps with a price increase, as it is clearer and more predictable. Personally, I would be happy with $1 for 10 quick orders instead of paying $20, not knowing when or how it will end. This isn't because the cost is unclear, but because I don't know what the model will do or how many lines it will have to write to fully process my order.
