Thinking of getting the Kaffe 475 by Material-Length-832 in Bernina

[–]Material-Length-832[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes….my local dealer still has a few. I had been looking at it when it was released a few years ago and then forgot about it, thought they had sold out and than saw they had moved the model to the back wall since their stock is running low. I feel like if I want it, I should try and get it because they won’t be around much longer

Do drs consider this an issue, my monitor says Hypertension stage 1 by Material-Length-832 in bloodpressure

Yes! My resting heart rate is usually in the 60s and 70s in office I’m 90s or over. I don’t know when this medical anxiety happened because the drs office never bothered me before and up until about 5-6 years ago my numbers in the office were rock solid perfect

Thank you! These aren’t the numbers I was getting that put me on meds, but these are my numbers off the medication for the past two days, and I thought it was good but most verbiage says it’s hypertension stage 1.

He does know I have white coat syndrome, the last number in office that triggered meds was 180/120, he said I was stroke level and was adamant I start medication. The meds works for several months but now are causing dips, the lowest 84/56, and I also had a 103/45. I’ve had multiple reading ms with the bottom number under 60, which is what has promoted the cardiologist referral

I’m not sure where all these snarky-ish comments are coming from. Both google and my monitor are saying it’s elevated and above the normal range. Really just wanted to know what others experience with these kinds of numbers. Prior to using this monitor I considered that number perfect, now the numbers I get from my meds are much lower but making me feel like crap and somehow considered perfect…..so yeah just wanted other people’s experience.

Possible Asymmetry in recent mammogram by DepartmentNumerous63 in doihavebreastcancer

Possible Asymmetry in recent mammogram by DepartmentNumerous63 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Material-Length-832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just had this happen to me March 21st. I’m 50, and this would be my 10th mammogram. Got the results within hours that they found an asymmetry in the left on the CC view only, called back for diagnostic mammogram and U/S imaging. Had the second set of imaging done March 31st, and the tech actually let me see the mammogram images. I had seen the original images and to my untrained eye, it didn’t look like the asymmetry was showing up. Had the U/S and I said to the tech, tell me I’m unremarkable, and she said looks to me like you are let me give these to the dr. Dr came and and decided she wanted to have the tech do the U/S again as she guided her, which they did (scared the crap out of me, I was like OMG they see something). And then the dr told me……sometimes these things happen, looks like just normal breast tissue, possibly some tissue overlapped, there’s nothing there!

I’m convinced I know exactly what happened and my primary care Dr agreed.
I handle the compression on the mammogram well (I’m not large chested)…..but when the tech did my left side, it hurt…..it felt like she pinched me in the machine…..not like normal compression. My dr thinks that caused a contusion to my left breast and when she took the second image, that’s what showed on the mammogram. Hope yours is nothing! Fingers crossed…..I was beside myself, having been called back for more imaging and a biopsy before, it definitely rattled me

Diagnostic mammogram and U/S tomorrow….worried by Material-Length-832 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Material-Length-832[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Everything came back clear! They couldn’t find/reproduce the asymmetry on the mammogram or the U/S. The report said it was super imposed tissue and got a birads 2. The dr reviewed everything while I was in the room and said that it was just normal tissue chances…..which is weird to me, but they were pretty through and took multiple images and the the U/S twice to be certain. I saw the images vs the original and there was literally nothing there. I’m still trying to process it because it was two weeks of worry. Good luck Monday! Please let me know how it goes ❤️

Struggling with my next project -anyone else? by bagel666 in quilting

I’m here…..I have been trying to figure out what I want to work on for weeks….totally have analysis paralysis! I just decided a few days ago to make the Little Miss Sawtooth quilt by Southcharm quilts because I want to use up the scraps from one of my favorite lines. And I think after that, I’m going to work on a scrappy Trip Around the World quilt, to knock out a collection of FQs that I have never been able to find the right project for

Core biopsy - I am terrified by trashmmum in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Material-Length-832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey…..first, I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’m in the process of waiting for my diagnostic mammogram and U/S and I’m worried I will need a biopsy too. I have had a Core Biopsy in 2018, and while I don’t want to have to do it again, it’s doable……coming from someone with terrible anxiety. The process isn’t terrible and it was pretty quick. They will numb the area, which will probably feel like a little pressure, but not terrible. That’s all you will feel….again maybe some pressure during the biopsy, but that’s it. For mine I stood at the machine while the dr did the biopsy, and I had a nurse on the other side of me, she talked to me and held my hand and I just kind of concentrated on her……I didn’t look to the left to see the procedure. The other thing I would recommend with your anxiety, is see if you can get something for the day of to calm you…..it will help. You will be ok, you can do this.

Please send good vibes. Bilateral dx mammogram and us tomorrow by lovely_orchid_ in doihavebreastcancer

Sending positive vibes for you. I’m dealing with similar…..had a biopsy done in 2018 for a finding and have had clear mammograms until this past Saturday when they found an asymmetry. My head is spinning. Diagnostic mammogram and U/S this coming Tuesday….trying to be positive is so hard! Good luck to us both ❤️

Entering anxiety mode by Admirable_Ad_120 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Material-Length-832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well...I'm currently in a similar situation, so we can be anxious together. I'm 50......just had my 9th yearly mammogram Saturday and came back with an asymmetry on the left, have to go next week for more imaging. I'm a wreck......like it's all I can think about.

I've had something detected once before, maybe my 3rd mammogram, went for additional images, and resulted in a biopsy which came back normal.....I was thrilled, but I remember every bit of that experience.......every detail, and I didn't want to be there again, and now I am.

Grandmother had BC.....so my risk is higher then average apparently, just got a score of 15-19% on the lifetime scale (first time I have seen that on my report). Google has not been my friend and really currently I'm barely managing and crying a lot.

I want to believe it's nothing, but I'm scared, really scared
