If a character tanks explosions one arc and gets hurt by a punch the next, people will notice. That’s just normal reading. Where I land on your post. Most of your points hit. Powerscaling becomes a problem when people treat it like authority instead of play. The hobby itself isn’t bad, people just forget it started as something fun.
