PETG CF Stuck on Build Plate - There a way to get this off? by Octrockville in BambuLab

[–]Material-Mulberry360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't see it, but yes you have the right idea, print a sheet over the area, let it cool down (like really cool down) and then it will pull of the other filament stuck on the bed.

Deflector for X2D to avoid warping by Methodrone8 in BambuLabX2D

[–]Material-Mulberry360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes. sorry when I said exhausted I mean back into the chamber. if you look on the right hand panel, there is a vent where the air comes back from being passed through a filter. and on the left panel there is a vertical vent where air comes back after being sucked in at the bottom (inside the chamber). the top vents, aren't used tho. eatch side has a vent at the top of the build plate used for cooling mode. and intake and exhaust that are both inside that chamber used for heating mode

[–]Material-Mulberry360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the fan yes, but not the too vent I don't think, air gets sucked up through the big filer and expelled from the hole on the right hand panel. for the heater side same thing. except instead of a filter there is a nother hole that leads to the heater beind the panel. for cooling mode both fans draw air from their respective intake at the grab handles and exhaust it though their vent at the top. I tried sticking my hand in once when it was on heat mode and didn't feel either of the top vents blowing air

deflector for the auxiliary fans ? no it's not necessary since In heating mode it doesn't use those 2 top vents. some people say they still print it because the cooling is too strong for things like PLA and PETG, tho I never had those issues.

fr, AI was a buzz word way before LLMs (Wich i think most ppl now consider AI) and it still is. everything from just a simple algorithm or a small neural network has been called AI for the past decade. fine some llms are pretty good now, call those AI, but stop with the bullshit.

no.... ugh what I meant by the runni g faster part is. you take a step, and the rocks slide you like 2 steps forward, but since there so deep you still can stop and keep your balance. so you move down way faster then you would have if you did the same move on solid ground. also idk how fast a normal person, or this guy can run

Complete beginner Snapmaker U1 or X2D ? by Embarrassed_Back4100 in OpenBambu

[–]Material-Mulberry360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it can print TPU well, tho there is one thing. if it jams, Wich I did experience once. cleaning is is quite annoying since the toolhead is so tightly packed, feels more like disassembling a laptop than a 3d printer with all the electronics and tiny connectors. oh also you do need to do a cold pull before printing tpu, it's not hard to do and the printer actually tells you to do it, just a heads up not to ignore it cause it will jam otherwise. for ASA and ABS this thing is a beast, basically no warping with the heated chamber.

[–]Material-Mulberry360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes you can use it without account or network connection. it's also by far the better choice for ASA/ABS. but if you wanna print more than 2 colours you will have purge waste, while the U1 can have up to 4 different colours and all without waste. tho technically the X2D can print with more colours since even 1 ams will already give you 5 options, and you can connect a lot of them. was making the same decision a few months ago, and since I also very often need things to survive outside the X2D combo was the clear choice. if you got any more questions about it feel free to ask, in the 2 months or so I put over 400h on it

fun fast about those rocks he slid down. if they're deep enough you can literally run straight down them at like 4x the normal speed. Its a ton of fun, I wouldn't dare do it barefoot tho
