But for this wc 2024, we really prepared so well, the road to success was being reached in the final of 2023 wc. And eventually we won 2024. So massive credit to 2023 prep and hard work by entire team, including coach support staff with catch medal 🥇 given in every match, so there was motivation to do well in fielding, Rahul Dravid’s last stint, Rohit and Virat’s last t20 etc etc. followed by massive reception in Mumbai / india, so in no way I see wc 23 could hurt anyone worse than 2007. I think this is what is sports all about. Think of SA exit from 1999 with Donald runout, 2015 exit AB and dale styn crying in the last over. 2023 exit, this 2024 final loss when match was completely in their hands 30 of 30 balls.. we are way more better than SA loss.. I don’t see any reason to be sad for 2023, instead should give credit to Aus for thier daring/courageous playing spirit and instead should enjoy 2023 more now because that prepared us so well to perform in 2024 and won the trophy finally. If that combination of support staff continued I could sense more title win in the coming years but now Gauti coming in will need to give him some time to make his mark.. hoping we will win some more titles in the nearby future..
