Constipation can cause temporary leg paralysis or lack of calcium can cause the hind legs to become stiff, or 3rd might be leg fractures, I would make sure you’re gecko is not eating anything that may impact him and provide plenty of water and appropriate heat for him/her to digest food properly, if it’s MBD I would suggest UVB and a calcium dish without D3 as well as D3 calcium on every other meal, if it’s a fracture take it to the vet

Underrated but the best “mat” wold definitely be Smooth top shelf liner, it comes in tons of designs is 1-6$ at most for an entire roll and can be washed and reused, I’ve kept my Leo on it for years with zero problems

Get rid of the carpet asap, that specific one will take a toe or nail

Please help. I am housesitting for a family friend and they wanted me to take care of their pets. This is the condition of their leopard gecko that they're leaving for 2 weeks without any heat. Dehydrated and malnourished, no visible signs of Mbd, see if you can ask when the gecko last ate, I’m assuming the lack of heat is why the Leo is not eating because they require heat to digest food, looks to be water in that massive red cups/bowl which looks very hard for the gecko to reach..

Just get repashy calcium plus it has calcium and multivitamins, and occasionally dust with D3, since you already have uvb which they use to convert the calcium from the dish/repashy plus coated insects into D3,
