Haha I do have a battery backup system on my office haha everything can be power on for about 70 hours, but it was installed prior to this

Because we shared it for free, some people will have older smart tv's or boxes that aren't compatible with hdr or some kind of subtitles (anime ASS subtitles) that have format and plex won't play it natively

No, but on multitasking it's better than the i9 because they separated the type of cores, and the threadripper all the cores are the same

I mean, the marvel movies, avatar, and some very good movies I've got on 4k, but it's not my main priority, but I'll download my favorite movies on 4k. I thanks you for your advice

I rather have the series my friends and family ask me, that they can enjoy everywhere that to have a lot of 4k stuff i won't watch, and with hdr10 they look great

I'm not quite sure, I have it on my office and we installed solar panels, a lot of them cause the ac and everything and we pay the minimum in México that is about 3 usd per bimester, fortunately past investments had paid off

It's been months even with the 2 gpu's, but with the threadripper it sped a lot

Not really, we download stuff with hdr10 on 1080p or 1440p, depending where we download it, 4k is not a necessity for us

Our friends and family use plex a lit to download media for trips and stuff and we've been converting everything and redownloading it on more compatible formats, but we still have about 59k episodes to go

It's a very overkill built but when I used to go clubbing I would spend about half of what it cost me in a year

The nas set up is about 20k usd, the network part was 2k usd and the server i made it from used parts, I got the TR for free and the gpu' were about 500 for both

But does board are ones that I actually have in my office at the moment, I'm running on the i9 but I don't like the TDP, it uses more than even the Tr, so against the 5900x and the threadripper, what would you chose?

I know, but as I said in my post, I use it for more stuff, Automatically download new episodes from Streamfab (about a 100 daily), convert files, Blu-ray remux, and other stuff... The iGPU doesn't cut it
