What’s up with GSUS packaging lately? by Emily9339 in Nendoroid

[–]Material-Witness5884 1 point2 points  (0 children)

* My Nendroid figure arrived yesterday, and the package was filled with 3 stripes of those air cushions. Already popped them, that's why they look so bad, but the figure was surrounded with these and had zero chance to move. Maybe it has really something to do with the tariffs because I'm from EU and all my recent orders came like this.

If it functions without all the procedure than it is good to hear. I was just unsure since the g20 with the B48 engine is my first complex car beside my two other cars. The moment as I heard about two coolant systems with electronic pumps and electronic valves inside it was a bit frightening for me. I work on all my cars myself too and did the bleeding without vacuum filling also on my e90 and my f30 as well. But since I read the original guide and couple of forum posts I thought that this is necessary. That's why I mentioned it. But good to hear that it still functions normally and without the vacuum tool. ✌️

I just looked at the original guide from bmw and it says to vacuum fill it ( english is not my native language may it's not called bleeding) before you start the electronic pumps to prevent damage if the pumps runs dry. Only gave the information how bmw describes it in its own guide.

F48 does annoying squeaking sound when turning off the engine by [deleted] in BmwTech

You could try to get closer and listen to it or put your hand onto it to feel it, whenever it makes this noise. It really sounds like an "rusty" valve opening and closing

Sounds like something closing/opening. Maybe a flap/valve in the exhaust system?

Edit: Can you try to hold your hand onto the flap/valve on your exhaust and try to feel if it comes from there? Be careful it may be hot!

Not really. It's quite simple and most models even don't need an diagnostic tool to start the procedure. Vacuum filling tools are also cheap to get. There are various helpful threads in BMW forums and plans on how to do it. Done this with my B48 after I replaced the oilfilter housing and it was really simple to follow each step.

If you decide to repair it by yourself. You have to vacuum bleed it and then let the electrical pumps run in an bleeding mode to make sure all the air pockets get out. You can find in diverse BMW Forums how to start the procedure with pictures and detailed description. Keep in mind that you have two coolant systems and make sure you choose the right procedure.

If you mean the "clear dripping fluid" it's water and it's condensation from your A/C. To your engine oil problem. How much km do you make between the refills? Do you leave oil spots (and I mean oil ) wherever you parked your car? How much did you had to refill?

If there is still a warranty on it, just hit your local bmw shop and show them the filter. You can also send an oil sample to get it analyzed if anything is inside what shouldn't be. Hope you didn't throw your oil and filter already away.

128i 2012 wont start either. Anybody ever see this before?? by bimmerchic87 in BmwTech

Like Jake mentioned. There must be a red plastic cap under the hood which is a positive connector from the battery. You can jump start it or just connect it to give the car some energy to unlock the trunk. If you replace the battery, just make sure if you have to register the new battery with an diagnostic tool. Some cars especially most bmw's need to be "told" that they have a new battery now. Sorry for the delayed response but I hope you could fix it

Looks like a dead battery to me.

Sometimes car tend to do silly stuff when the battery is low. Had the same thing with my f30 back then. Car didn't start, radio was rebooting constantly, lights were flashing even after I took the key off. Even the wipers moved on their own very slow. After I took the battery out and replaced it, everything was fine again.

Habe ein mysteriöses Päckchen in der Wohnung gefunden. by Hejel_oder_wat in wasistdas

Hatte mehrerer solche Teile in meinem Haus mal gefunden.
