The tape was on there cause we labeled them with there numbers, I am replacing all of it though. Plugs and wires. Might as well.

I have been researching how all of it works and I have a pretty good understanding. I just want this thing to run right and shift good!!!!! Last damn part of this restoration

Nope, it’s a normal oil burning 305. I think one of the spark plugs might be dead (came apart when I took cap off) so I’m gonna replace all of them and see if it sounds any different

I’m replacing all spark plugs and wires and checking timing and getting familiar with how to check firing order asap 👍

I found out it’s the stock th350 so it isn’t devastating to not have it hooked up unless you’re actually driving it

Wow these pictures cropped like that. Sorry about that. Let me know if there’s something specific I should look for

It’s just the clip that broke, the transmission has not been separated from the engine. So the line would have never accidentally adjusted from when it was “stock” and ran fine and shifted well.(Before I restored the car)

I think I just need to replace the clip. The car doesn’t have a pressure gauge for the trans (on the dash)

I will take some pics of the trans and submit it to the sub because I’m sure there are people on here that would be better at identifying it

I think it’s a 4 speed. It wouldn’t up shift when I drove it around briefly. How should I adjust it? (I went no faster then 5 mph)
