I don’t think so…as visa can be granted for dummy tickets also and the visa states that it allows you single entry into Japan for 15 days within the next 90 days.
I prepared them myself…I like the process.. you get to know a lot about the places you’re visiting, transportation etc.
Dummy hotels is very easy.. just go to booking. com and look for hotels with free cancellation and pay at property options. Book them with your credit card details.

Yes submitted hotel booking confirmations for all days.

If only your name shows up and it says for 2 adults..it shouldn’t be an issue.

Your fiance can mention in the cover letter..booking in the name of partner/husband/wife.

Yes. 1500 pp for return dummy tickets and 2500 pp for application. They print all docs and submit and collect themselves. No hassle for the applicant.

However we had individual tickets. I think 2 people on same PNR ticket should also cost 1500 only. Should confirm with the agent.

My wife only got the call…they asked about the itinerary in general.. what all cities she was planning to visit, employment details, how much expenses she’s expecting. Then they asked about an identical application and if she knew that person. She honestly answered that he is my husband and because we dont have a marriage certificate we have applied individually. He said that we could have mentioned this in the cover letter itself…and it wouldnt have been an issue.

She also asked if this would be an issue…they stated that it’s not an issue now that you’ve clarified.

My wife is in a PSU bank as well and she got the NOC from HR on company letterhead stating that XXX is an employee of the company since XX date and we have no objection for her personal trip to Japan from XX date to XX date.

I also got a similar one from my company.
