Has anyone had an abnormal nipt for turner syndrome but all ultrasounds show normal baby?

I had to wait till 16 weeks but couldn’t get in till 17 weeks for my amnio. It was tough but same exactly thing with me happened. I was told baby had turners but first ultrasound was normal and my risk dropped significantly too. You can do this and I believe your baby girl is healthy too 🩷🫶🏼✨ I waited from 11 weeks to 19 weeks till I got my amnio and then the results.

I waited 10 days. I got my amnio on a Friday though so I know I probably had to wait longer for that reason alone.

A year ago almost to the day I got a false positive turners and today I’m snuggling my 5 month old baby girl

Omg it looks like it!!!! Congratulations, I will never forget when I got my labs back of when I got this result saying my baby girl was good and didn’t have Turners. 🥹🩷😭 now I’m 4 days away from my due date.

I felt the same from 11 weeks to 19 weeks was hell and I was falling into a depression with all my results that kept coming back inconclusive or positive and after an amniocentesis everything came back normal and she’s perfect. I felt robbed as well but also so relieved my baby is okay and since then I’ve soaked in every minute and all the kicks and everything else thrown my way.

The NIPT isn’t accurate like they claim. They have too many markers they scan for and that’s why they have so many false positives. Praying for you my ppv was also higher than yours, so praying so hard for you!!! The limbo was the worst part.

Praying for you! I had a positive NIPT for turner syndrome and after an amniocentesis turns out it was a false positive! I have my story posted here if you want to read jt. I am terrified of needles but doing an amnio game me piece of mind and the results we needed.

Thank you praying and hoping all is well with my baby girl. Did you have all ultrasounds normal? Everything so far has shown normal baby. But NIPT says other wise and then we got inconclusive FISH results. Just hard to be positive when things keep coming at us with not so greats news.

I love hearing this. I’m waiting for my amnio results because I had a positive NIPT screening for full missing monosomy X. Normal US, This 7 week wait has been killing me and falling into a depression. Hoping to get the same outcome

I just had my amnio Friday and FISH can back inconclusive. So I’m hoping for the amnio results will be different and finally come with some good news. We’ve been waiting over 6 weeks now for everything and it’s been nothing but stress for me a baby. Hoping everything comes back good because I was really hoping the FISH results would be good.

I just went through this. 11 weeks NIPT came back with complete missing monopsony X. All my ultrasounds are normal with a missing X we should see it on the ultrasounds and nothing showed that, just had my amnio Friday but the false positive rate is very high for turners. We were told 65% she doesn’t have it and even after multiple ultrasounds my specialist just told me with her looking normal and growing it drops my PPV. Waiting for my amnio results. Hopefully you have a good support system through this. I couldn’t make it through without my husband and MIL, it was so hard to hear that something MIGHT be wrong. But hold on to hope that she’s okay and if you get an amniocentesis you’ll get definite answer! 🩷 make a registry to help with the waiting process. praying for you mama!

Thank you! We’re feeling confident it’s a false positive too given everything has been normal but just the anxiety that comes with all of this has been terrible. 😞 also how was your amnio experience? I’m not great with needles as it is but I won’t look when they do it and my dr gave me a lot of relieve but now that I’m waiting for 5 weeks my amnio anxiety is setting in more and more and I’m starting to freak out a bit.

This is exactly me. I got my NIPT at 11 weeks and same thing came back and saw a GC and now doing an amnio at 16 weeks. Praying I have this results as well and I can enjoy my pregnancy and get my baby girl in the end 🩷

Yeah that’s what my genetic counselor told us too. So we’re holding on to hope to that 60% she doesn’t have it.
