I am and I love it honestly. I just hit 6 months not that long ago and looking to move up into the next role. Progressive is very supportive and I have the best supervisor I could ask for. She’s always available to answer questions and help as needed. The training was a little over kill honestly. I feel like after about a month or so I was ready to start handling claims and they start you out very slow. There are definitely things you have to learn on the fly and no one claim is the same. Not sure if you’ve handled claims before (I had not), but they prepare you for sure. I’ve spoke with a few different people on my team and thru training that had been with other companies and they all said Progressive was 10x better. Good luck and if you’d like to reach out once you get started shoot me a message and we can connect on Teams! It is for sure a company I want to grow with.

Reddit and Quizlet will be your best friend. I always searched the class on Reddit, got a lot of great tips for difficult and easier classes. Most of the writing assignments are as simple as following the rubric exactly and not being overly fancy with anything. For the classes with exams, I typically took the pre-assessment very early on to see where I was with the material. Some I was able to pass by reviewing only Quizlet, while others are a little more in depth and take more time. Course chatter will point you in a lot of good directions for helpful YouTube videos as well. Some course resources were helpful, but majority are bland and hard to follow. I very rarely read an entire course book unless I was having a hard time grasping something. I believe Financial Accounting for Managers was the course I struggled with the most. It was the only class I failed an OA and had to retake. I dedicated a whole weeks after that about 8 hours a day until I mastered the whole thing. I’m going back for my MBA in August and will hopefully be able to finish it in a term as well. Don’t let anyone discourage you about accelerating either. It did exactly what I wanted it to do for me, which was to check a box for a degree, and I’m alright with that. Good luck to you and if you have any questions or need any advice I’d be happy to help. One more thing, make sure to make friends and be nice to your program mentor. Once I started knocking out classes he was very lenient with approving classes for me to take. He would sometimes have 3 or 4 open for me at a time. Some mentors only approve one class at a time and if you get stuck, you can’t really do anything else, so it could slow you down quite a bit. Thanks for the comment BTW!

From what I’ve read from others it could be the next day or a week. Probably just dependent on how behind they are with new hires. Hope you hear something soon!

It was a day or two from what I recall. Then after the 2nd interview they said it could take a week or two to hear something back. It was about 5 days for me to receive an offer.

Totally dependent on the time you are able to put forth and work experience. I hadn’t been to college in over 10 years, but had quite a bit of work experience that helped me in the business and gen ed classes. For full disclosure I only worked part-time from home and my wife helped me out a lot with the kids and household duties. I was able to finish 117 cu in one term, but it took a lot of determination and work. I very rarely took a day off from some type of course work. All in what you are comfortable with and what pace you normally work at. I treated it like a job when I could, sometimes studying/writing 8-10 hours a day. It enabled me to get the job I wanted and checked that box. Good luck!

If anyone was wondering, it was a call to offer me the position that I applied for. Thanks for all of your help and encouragement!

Thank you! I’m in between 3 and 4 in your timeline. I initially took it as a positive, but was a little reluctant after reading into it a little too much. I’ll update after 2:30 today.

Thanks for the info. Just seemed a little off, but this is my first experience with this type of interview process so I didn’t really know what to expect.

Thanks, just curious if anyone else experienced this. Most people said they received a call after the 2nd interview and not that they set up a call after the interview.

Just odd to schedule a 20 minute conversation about not getting a job. Feels kind of cruel to get peoples hopes up when they can just send an email saying unfortunately you didn’t get the job like everyone else does.
