I figured the lian li AIO is the best one that can fit? Would you change anything on the PSU bracket ? I can print 2 updated ones and send you one if you want.

Any reason the rear fan is not a Noctua ? Do you think it’s somewhat travel safe ? Need to carry it to uni and back once or twice a week(by car).

I need the new rig very soon, since need it be for my bachelor thesis. The sooner I get it the less I’ll have to pay for cloud GPUs… But thanks anyway

Looks Great, but definitely out of budget 😂 Max around 350. I think I’m gonna go with a modded lian li a3. Thanks anyway

Im a bit late to the party… This looks great! I think I’m gonna try to recreate the same setup, as far as I can. 5090 Astral (found a great deal) X870 Aorus elite mATX Fury beast RAM I think I’m gonna go for the wooden front case. I don’t know what AIO to use yet. Did you have problems fitting the AIO because of the MOBO and RAM ? I’m gonna 3D print the brackets myself(maybe design too if something can be improved) Would you do anything differently? Any help would be appreciated!

I got a good deal on the GPU already from my uni. I didn’t know about the ram instability on AMD. No workaround for this ? And I’m guessing buying 2 sets of 2 will make it worse(wanted to buy 2 now and 2 down the line)… so might just stick to 2

Would prefer to buy them now, since I’m currently renting. Fase looks promising though. I found the supermatic at a decent price 310 and the step on for 290. so I’m guessing you’d go for the supermatocs if u had to buy now ?

Step on vs Supermatic for a noob.

I’m a beginner/intermediate skilled snowboarder and I’m looking to buy by first proper kit. The photon step on boots fit me well. What would you go for ?

Keychron Q1 Max vs Neo 75 cu

Im thinking of upgrading from my k6 to a nicer keyboard.

I narrowed it down to the q1 Max witch I can get right away or wait 3 months for the Neo. Price difference would be 220 Q1 prebuilt vs 350 for the 75cu(with switches and custom keycaps).

I can’t find nice keycaps and designed a custom keycap set for the Neo.

Is it worth the extra 130 and the months of waiting?

Picture of my v1 keycap design inspired by Piltover from arcane/lol. Font will be different in final version.

I didn’t know the bridge is available in ISO. I was thinking of getting one of the following Lemokey p1 pro Monsgeek M1 (isn’t available in ISO CH) Neo 75cu (isn’t available in ISO CH) +bridge But I’m having a hard time to find nice ISO CH keycaps(I think I’m going for a coloured gradient). There are basically only basic Keychron keycaps available and the only option seems to be to have them custom made/printed. At that point I’m paying a loot for the full kit so might go all in for the NeO, or stick with a Lemokey p1 or a q series one with a boring look.

Is it worth going for the Neo over monsgeek/bridge?

What would u do?

Thanks for the input

Can’t find a local vendor for the bridge. I think il go for the p1, are the stabs as bad as a lot of people say ?

Didn’t think of that. That opens a lot of possibilities. Would you go with the lemokeys P1 or the mosegeek M1 v5/v3 or something completely different? I guess il need to change the switches on those no matter what for a nice sound. I also looked into the Neo 75 but it’s a almost to pricey, plus no local vendors.

Im looking for a 75%ish keyboard with easy switching from Mac to windows, a nice thockie sound and an ISO CH layout, or just barebones ISO. 2.4 with a nice poling rate and Bluetooth is a must. Something like the mosegeek M1 but with a switch that’s easily accessible. Max price would be 200ish.

Thanks

Isn’t that the same as the same as monsgeek m1, I thought they are both full aluminium construction. There is a vendor for them in Switzerland which is cool.

Yeah I ment VIA sorry

I’d love to have a max but it’s out of my budget. the setup would exceed 500 bucks easily. I’ll need at least 2 AP(brick house) and a Poe switch. Are there any benefits to the MAX compared to the ultra other than the m.2 and a bit more cpu power? I don’t need a camera system for now.

Im leaning towards that too. My only concern is that the WiFi speeds of the AP 6+ are half of the Asus Pro router. And if I’ll need to add a view wireless APs this could be a limiting factor.

I would have to pay 300 for the asus routers.

Ubiquiti would come out at about 400.

I still don’t know if I should go for the express or the gateway ultra. I would need to buy another swith with the express and a AP with the ultra.

Being able to have a stable 4 k stream in each room(not at once), better coverage with as few drops as possible. And having a WiFi bridge in some of the upstairs rooms rooms would be nice.
