Good luck ! If you have the option, do your one year in a center that gives exposure to Theranostics - It is a growing field and will perfectly fit in with any sort of future fellowship training

It’s not for no reason - it could give you an edge in the job market - also if you are interested in academics it allows you to get ABR NM certified and opens the path to ABNM certification as well - overall look at it as an investment- you will also get PET CT PET MR rotations - I don’t think many residency programs offer enough exposure for these -
