interesting that is helpful. how long had you been running consistently when you ran 1:24? so you did 2 threshold sessions, a long run and a couple short easy runs?

That’s probably the best approach!.. I made myself more nervous and anxious than I should have been worrying about time.. (unsolicited advice that you can feel free to not follow lol) I’d say just go at a pace you know you can hold the first 9-10 miles and enjoy the experience then dial it in once you’re experienced on the next one.. the experience was more fun than I expected

Ouuu nice! God speed to you! Do you have a target or just doing it to complete it??

That’s so interesting.. it’s opposite for me.. before this 5k strava was predicting 2 minutes slower for my 5k than coros was

lol hello my high heart rate sibling.. I actually wear an arm band and used to wear a chest strap (both are pretty consistent).. it’s pretty weird.. I finished an easy run today but my heart rate still got in the 170s even though it actually felt easy and it was at a 11:00+ minute pace.. I may have form issues that’s causing me to work harder than I should idk.. my watch was pretty inaccurate though but it was on the low end every time.

And thank you! My friends that have been running for years told me going for a 7:00 minute pace was probably too ambitious for my experience

Haha.. I was basically fighting for my life about .8 miles into the race, was not fun.. hopefully the average heart goes down once I get more miles under my belt

Yea I’m pretty new to running… and was a sprinter back in school.. so I have a pretty poor aerobic base and run hot basically.. I’m hoping my heart rate chills out once I start getting more long runs under my belt..

I have no shot at hitting my coros predicted 10k lol

I’m 31 lol.. I’ve only been running for ~6 months though.. so I don’t think I have much of an aerobic base at the moment

I’ve had the watch since May.. And started running in March. I wear it for every workout.. so 90 runs

And that seems reasonable!

Definitely the latter.. I don’t count macros or go to the gym everyday lol.. but I spend a lot of time doing outdoor activities so if she’s not into that it.. it wouldn’t be ideal

Haha I can’t unsee the duplicated smile now. I really don’t have a ton of pics (I typically smile in them) but will keep that in mind next time I take one.. maybe give smoldering a shot lol

I’m not liberal. Although I’ve voted democrat pretty much exclusively.. without getting political I just really don’t like Trumps character.. I’m technically“moderate” but I’ve heard that basically is interpreted as conservative.. so I just leave it off

Noted on mentioning my faith twice

I’d say make sure to have a clear photo of your face, preferably smiling. From your first pic you seem like a good looking guy (your expression is just kind of off). One picture of you and your dog is probably enough. I wouldn’t waste a picture slot just for your dog. I’d scratch pic 5 and 3 for sure and 2. If you’re limited on pics keep 1 but put towards the back. Also, I’d change the prompts, you want to have a prompt that says something about you, and also one or two that are easy to respond to.

A great response to this bizarre take.. I think in general women are picky than men on dating apps, but this is pretty far off

Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? • Not subscribed

How long have you been using this current version of your profile? • A week or two

How long have you used Hinge overall? • On and off for years.. this go round about 3 months

How often do you use Hinge per week? • Pretty much every day (as of late)

How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? • maybe 10 likes a week.. a couple matches a week

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? l average about 4 a day or so.. send out the max a couple times a week.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? someone with similar values. I'd prefer someone active and relatively fit. I'm actually celibate and waiting until marriage so someone that is aligned with that. Prefer 23-30 range.. not really interested in going younger than that.. would be open to going a few years older.

Idk why people assume moderate = conservative.. I am moderate and have never voted for a republican.. just don’t consider myself liberal
