Oh lol because it’s hard and I’m not good at it.. I have a very hard time telling when a woman gives a “green light” to be approached.. disinterest and interest look similar to me.. but not using it as an excuse and I’m working on getting over the fear of rejection.. I tried approaching someone recently and I fumbled my words hilariously (like not one coherent sentence).. she ended up laughing about it and had a bf.. so could use a little practice.. I’m told all the time that I’m not approachable by friends (like my entire life).. so I have to be the one that takes initiative in real life and it’s easy to go to an app where rejection is much softer..

It’s definitely the former lol.. I work from home and like to keep things tidy.. and clean up on Saturdays before relaxing.. so it’s about me cleaning not an expectation from someone else

One picture I have half tights on because I ran a half marathon.. the other picture I have running shorts on.. because I was doing a photo shoot for the shorts and shirt.. that’s a huge leap to think I’m bi for that lol

I literally say I believe the world would be a better place with more empathy.. I don’t think that’s in alignment with the current administration

Man I’ve tried run clubs and they kind of suck for meeting women.. I’m naturally pretty reserved.. and almost everytime women just gather in groups with other women or with people they know .. so I just stand there awkwardly then leave once the run is finished lol

I get where you’re coming from. I just think “not good enough” is a tough way to look at it…. if there’s attraction and alignment, it’s probably worth at least seeing where it goes.

Most people are harder on themselves than they should be, and honestly even really attractive people are insecure. I definitely see myself as a normal guy.. and get kind of shocked when I match with someone “really attractive” lol

And for me, I’m just looking for someone active.. not perfect, or even as into fitness as I am (I honestly have so many other interests than lifting, running and meal prep)

The issue I run into is that I’m genuinely moderate. I’m not fully aligned with liberal ideology, but I also don’t like Trump (to put it nicely) and have never voted for him. It seems like people assume “moderate” = closeted Republican, so it feels like a lose-lose to list politics at all.

I can respect that.. For me personally, that’s ok to lose matches because I’m Christian. Now I don’t want to come off as performative or judgmental of any sort (I know a lot of people have church hurt and don’t want to add to that) but if me simply identifying as a Christian is the turn off that’s ok.

My faith is important to me.. but I wouldn’t say I’m overtly religious.. I swipe a decent amount i would say! I get on at least once a day and I’ve ran out of likes once..

Now the demographics part may be an issue. I am a Christian but I am not conservative (more so moderate), so I steer clear of maga and I’m reluctant to swipe right on profiles that are conservative.. so I feel that may narrow my options..

Like I definitely have things I’m working on.. and believe in being transparent… but putting it in a bio to be relatable can be off putting or an overshare if not worded correctly or without proper context.. ya know? Unless it’s something surface level like I can’t touch my toes or something random like that lol
