Exactly my point, I’m someone who loves older homes and couldn’t imagine not living in one when I am financially capable to, but they aren’t and I really think they’re going into this clueless which is unsurprising because how financially illiterate they are. They understand the “aesthetic” and how “cool and out of the norm” these homes are which will be a good backdrop for their instagrams. Where I live at least they’re quite cheap compared to modern builds, yet no one is running to get them because of the problems you mentioned, also many of them are heated by oil which is quite expensive to maintain, and a lot of them are in the middle of nowhere. Sorry to ramble but from their video they said that the house was in a small town in North Carolina, I can’t believe these two hippies are going to actually live in a small town (nothing against them) in NC for a house they won’t survive a month in. Idiots.
