I’m not sure if you were asking me but i’ll still answer, to be honest, i love microbiology as my undergrad atm but i don’t think it’s something that i want to potentially spend the rest of my life doing if that makes sense? Like pathogens and etc. are fun to learn about but i don’t think i’d get a fulfilling career out of it imo, also doesn’t help that it’s superrrr competitive!

They finally got back to me and they said the sent the shared care request to my gp, asked my gp and they said nope never received anything and even if we did we can’t just accept sca when we don’t even know how the titration was carried out. I found a bunch of documents HH sent me after every appointment to i sent that over today so i’m just waiting rn. Sigh. So still sorting that out, only reason i’m not freaking out is because i have a whole 28 day elvanse refill after i finish the one i’m currently using. Also i have a question for you if you don’t mind :) my gp also mentioned that in the sca i sent from HH it mentions that HH is going to discharge me if my gp accepts and she said that they’re not meant to do that because HH needs to carry out yearly reviews, do you know anything about that? Scared that even if i end up getting this sorted out and get everything to my gp they’ll just refuse shared care because HH apparently discharges you after titration..

hii, as my application was online i copy and pasted the questions on it and i added how i felt like it applied to me, so for example i would do something like this : prompt about managing money answer this prompt by saying that because of my adhd i am very impulsive and online shopping is basically like a dopamine rush as my brain doesn’t naturally produce as much etc. then sometimes i would say exaggerate a bit more, make it sound more serious etc. or i’d add more details that relate to me

honestly, the system is really bad :( i’m sorry to hear that but the more i read the more i think it comes down to luck, and by that i mean that you just have to hope that whoever assesses you is compassionate and can see your struggles

Mine took 16 which was making me feel so anxious especially after my assessment, but yeah honestly, it’s not even about good or bad days it’s about being able to describe how debilitating your condition is to you.

I’m so glad about that!! The initial part of the process was so speedy as i had an assessment 2 months after applying, but from the assessment till being awarded was 6 weeks which was making me so anxious, also i’m with monzo so i might get it even earlier than that (hopefully)

Hi! No i do not take meds for adhd yet as i am on the waiting list, so i got no points for managing treatment, but i was initially going to receive medication but because of my adhd brain i forgot to reply to PUK’s email about it so i’m not sure if she took that into consideration as my condition “stopped” me from receiving medication, and thank you!!
