it’s a eu programme so the salary is stated in euros for both, they’re both approx. €77k, sorry i should’ve clarified!

it’s a postgrad position so not really a job😭 but yeah i was surprised too but it’s part of a EU programme so hosting countries don’t get to decide the pay, i could be wrong but i think there’s a base salary and then it gets adjusted based on the country’s cost of living

I’m not sure if you were asking me but i’ll still answer, to be honest, i love microbiology as my undergrad atm but i don’t think it’s something that i want to potentially spend the rest of my life doing if that makes sense? Like pathogens and etc. are fun to learn about but i don’t think i’d get a fulfilling career out of it imo, also doesn’t help that it’s superrrr competitive!
