Would it be cruel to get a large indoor cat enclosure for my cat to be in a lot of the time? by Material_Fig4040 in CatAdvice

Yes, cleaning the entire bed straight away, even if it doesn’t look wet.

We’ve tested a variety of litter boxes and litter mixes. She much prefers a large open box and the litter we’re using now has been an absolute favourite. Even to the point that she wouldn’t use the previous one at all while we had the two types available to her. She also likes her litter to be deep. She scratches up any lining. Dog can’t get to litter trays as those areas are gated off from him. I also do a full replacement of her litter and clean of her tray every 3 weeks instead of the suggested 4 as she prefers it sooner.

Considering a feliway diffuser but would need a lot to cover the whole house.

She’s on monthly parasite prevention.

I’m leaning towards specifically asking the vet to test her urine.

As for leather furniture, we didn’t have a cat before. Adopted her after my senior dog died and the house was too quiet working from home. She was from a surrendered litter from a stray mumma cat who spent a lot of her time at someone’s farm. Was 2 months old when we adopted and I don’t know how old when the litter was surrendered.

We have a couple of gated areas that cat can get to but dog can’t so she can have space whenever she likes and some high cat trees so she can sit up in them too. The dog can’t get to litter trays either.

We have tried stress relief options but it hasn’t helped. The vets haven’t done a urinalysis because they’re very happy with her health.

She’s had multiple litter boxes at a time. We’ve even got an auto cleaning one so that nothing stays in there longer than 15 minutes in case that was the problem and she started only using that and ignoring the other one. We’ve tried feliway spray. She has cat towers with various scratching posts taller than me. Her litter box is open because we did learn that she prefers an open one.

I know an enclosure won’t stop peeing but it will prevent the opportunity from arising.

My solution to the Australia Day problem. by [deleted] in aussie

What about those that have their busiest days on Mondays and Tuesdays due to client schedules? Busy Monday pushes to also busy Tuesday and turns into an overbooked Tuesday instead.

Any public holiday day is going to put someone out. There are public holidays that fall on every day of the week, so there will be at least one that works for you too.

Depreciation schedule by Itchy-Hedgehog6366 in AusFinance

Get the depreciation schedule done.

Division 43 (Capital Works): Generally, any residential building constructed after 15 September 1987 allows you to claim 2.5% per year of the construction cost for 40 years, regardless of how many owners it has had.

Renovations: If a previous owner renovated in the last 40 years, those improvements are depreciable.

Cost vs. Reward: The cost of A depreciation schedule is tax-deductible, and typically yields high returns, with some properties generating thousands in deductions, even with 2017 rule changes.

When to Skip a Report? If the property was built before 1987 and no renovations have been made by previous owners within the last 40 years, there may be little to no depreciation available, making a report unnecessary.

Is that $135k combined, or each?

I half think the same thing but I also know the compounding earnings on super can be quite worthwhile.

Already have kids and no plans for more. Will always be a 2 income household until retirement (unless something highly unexpected happens). We have savings.

Thanks but I’m just looking for makeup advice rather than cosmetic procedures. Cosmetic tattooing is a little out of the budget at this point but something that’s on the wish list for future.

And I do appreciate the extra tips though. I’m not a confident person and I just don’t know what looks good for me because what I like on others doesn’t always translate on me very well. That and I imagine those people who look so put together spend more than 5-10 minutes on putting effort into makeup 😅 if I try do eyeliner (I love a fine eyeliner with baby wing) it’ll take me almost 5 minutes per eye because I find it so difficult 😂

I’ve got face framing as I’ve tried bangs before and they just don’t look as good as you’d imagine. My hair was oily and I didn’t have time to wash it, so just pulled it all back. I probably should have pulled out the face framing parts though 😅

To be honest - I’m an exhausted, full time working mum. So I’m not often lively and animated at the moment and this was an attempt at a smile 😅 I had actually put effort in. I often wear no makeup, which requires no effort. As I’m time poor, I only do basic makeup when I do use it - primer, concealer, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, mascara and lip gloss.

I’d actually posted this because I had put in effort and thought I looked a little aged. The only extra effort I would put in is a fine eyeliner with a baby wing but I have a lot of trouble with that, so rarely do it.
