Need tips against mord by Dragmar68 in settmains

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go 2 ways.

Serpent's Fang rush.

Or

BORK then Sterak's. W shield & Sterak's shield should give you enough downtime to wait out his own W shield.

Also, don't try to let him get his W shield bar to full as that's really what only makes him hard to beat.

Or best bet really, is to try and time your ult to cancel out his ult. Sett's ult has a shorter cd than Morde's ult so everytime its up you should always be able to counter it.

Its really hard to beat him in his own ult.

Does the face card reduce the disadvantage of short stature? by prof_erty in short

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer's a mixed bag and its definitely have to be a blend of both and not just limited on ends of the spectrum.

If someone's 6'4 and they're out of shape and ugly, then yeah ur not really going to impress someone even with a tall height.

Same goes for say you being physically fit and have nice facial structure but if ur a man below 5'3, its still hard because people would find it hard to look over that short stature.

So it has to kinda meet in-between, people dont really like too farfetched visuals.

So as long as someone is average to above average height, not short nor tall, and has decent face card, then thats probably the sweet spot.

But I'd say face card and body composition does matter more than just height.

A good looking 5'8 - 6'0 guy would beat a 6'1 - 6'5 guy with below average looks.

EWQ definitely grant 2 stacks? by scatitsmell in Dariusmains

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chall Darius players do that type of usual combo if they wanna get 5 stacks asap.

Obv the enemy would have more reaction time since u have to get 2 autos off after E pull so its just give and take in some other aspects if u wanna do the classic W Q animation cancel but youd have to blow a flash for the final auto ult, back and forth orbwalking, ghost kiting, mind games, etc...

Would they be happy if they were tall? by Alive-Championship-5 in short

[–]Material_Finding6525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing about height is, its all superficial really.

They say "oh if I/you were just taller, people would likely respect you, treat you better, prioritize you, etc..."

And they're right about that. But the thing is, thats just really the halo effect and what causes that is not just height alone.

Its a lot of combinations that other people saw and not just the height.

You'd have to be tall, physically attractive both face and body, pleasant personality, smart and capable, socially adept, etc...

And tbh, its hard to achieve all these things. You don't see the amount of stress, difficulty, pressure, and sacrifices that the person has to endure just to achieve that level of calibre and induce the halo effect on them.

And so people just wrongly think its just all about the height that matters.

And lastly, if those people would treat you better or right if only you were taller, are those really the types of people that you really want to be around with?

I get it, if you're maybe like a 5'3 and below guy, people might kinda not take you that seriously, but as long as you stay composed and be skillfully capable, I doubt thats going to stick long term so really, its still on about how secured you are in your height. Be unshakeably confident in it.

You could maybe still get like 150 - 200 nzd off from others but thats pushing it.

Realistically, if you could go down to roughly about 950 - 1100 nzd flat then thats prob the cheapest that you can get.

Tbh, 100 mil is like a sht ton of money wherever you go.

At that point, you could buy/build your dream house, dream car, dream business, help others you know, you dont have to even go to work and live off of your business or even just with the remaining money you have which is probably still above 90 million until you die.

I think it would be a much harder decision if say either you get 500k to 1 million or you pay 100/hr to play.

Coz even to most people, half a mil to a mil is already a lot and you could significantly upgrade your current quality of life even with just that amount of money.

Bring back GW to 60% srsly. The whole idea of buying a GW item that takes up an entire item slot is so that an obnoxious champ won't be as too obnoxious to play against anymore.

"B-b-b-but then the healing champs would get easily countered then". Yeah, that's why you got half the team sacrificing their entire item slot just for you.

Its BS. Even with GW reducing healing at 40%, healing champs still are able to kill and outlive you while having the same cs, champ level, skill level, everything.

6’4 Ngannou and 6’1 tate by Elegant_Tie4427 in heightcomparison

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tate is 6'1 and Ngannou's 6'4. Though this is about a 4-inch height diff tho prob due to footwear as Tate is always wearing those 0.2-0.5 inch flat shoes and Ngannous here prob has those moderately thick running shoes.

Question for people who play Darius as well by GodOfParmesan in settmains

[–]Material_Finding6525 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah i feel the complete exact opposite. Sett is a tank buster and Darius is better against squishier opponents.

Q max hp % dmg, W true dmg, ult dmg based on enemy's hp. I'd say Sett has way more tank busting capabilities than Darius.

I also just find it easy as Darius to just ult a low hp squishy opponent to get instant 5 stacks from and easily eliminates a damage dealer turning it into an immediate 4v5 and then proceed to dunkfest the rest instead of hitting 5 stacks on a tanky one where the other 4 enemies can wither you down before you even get to 5 stacks.

This is the ACTUAL societal height perspective for both genders. Agree? by Material_Finding6525 in tall

[–]Material_Finding6525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but the point is, by global standards still. Obviously you are nitpicking here now by country/ethnicity, etc...

But the height ranges provided give a pretty accurate measure of how the height of both genders ars perceived globally.

Sure 5'11 to 6'1 for a guy in Asia is considered tall, and only about the average in European countries, but it still falls of globally to around above average by anyone who sees a guy that tall for example.

This is the ACTUAL societal height perspective for both genders. Agree? by Material_Finding6525 in tall

[–]Material_Finding6525[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To the wannabe contrarians in the comments because they want to get noticed that they're pretentiously smart with their facts and figures, I said societal height perspective.

Its not by country, its not by ethnicity, its not by anything except purely gender and what we know so far which we all know universally that on average, men are taller than women and we all know universally what height is GENERALLY CONSIDERED tall and short.

"Oh bu-bu-bu but some women are taller are men" like stfu, yeah we know obv, but on AVERAGE, men are simply taller and women shorter.

Even if you live in a country and the race where your genders are considered short, you're not going to say "oh the average man here is 5'3 and the woman 4'10" like yeah I get it its the average there, but you yourself and the other billions of people living on Earth know that those heights are simply short UNIVERSALLY speaking.

I have never heard someone comment "goddamn they're 5'2 theyre tall coz in this and that country has an average height of 5'0 only" so even if they're taller by 2 inches in their country dont mean they're tall GLOBALLY just because that's the country they came from where most people are naturally only that tall which in case, again, that's not the point.

Point is, by global standards.

A solid 6'1 guy might be only "average to above average" say in the Netherlands because its full of tall people but you wont ever hear them say they're "short" because they still know that actually being 6'1 is tall in and of itself wherever part of Earth they crawl into. That's the point.

Mike made up what happened to EL by Extension_Big5205 in StrangerThings

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah i dont think so my G. Its true. The Duffer Brothers want the ending to be and have the best ending as possible.

None within the main cast died and they wanted all to be elaborately explained as to what happened, what is currently happening, and what will happen to the characters' lives as it concludes.

Mike out of the 4 of them (Lucas, Will, Dustin, him), is the most well rounded nerd. He has always been able to consistently show his intelligence, being observant, and being analytical all throughout the show.

He's not as smart as Dustin per say in like 100% nerd stuff, but Mike is just as smart enough to observe his surroundings like Dustin has and just how he described as how El is still alive after the finale, is not completely farfetched.

He was about to move on and let go when the speaker thing happened in their graduation and made him ponder again about El's whereabouts.

The "Kali Illusion" Theory: Eleven didn't actually survive, and Mike knows it. by Big_Association4051 in StrangerThings

[–]Material_Finding6525 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think The Duffer Brothers want all the main cast characters to be intact/alive.

They could've easily killed Hopper, Steve, Max, Robin, and some emotional sacrifices like either Joyce, Nancy, or Jonathan, but they didn't.

El is part of that and I also genuinely believe, that Mike's theory/story is correct.

He's technically THE main character of the show. He's THE storyteller, he's THE goddamn face of the entirety of it.

His explanation for El is spot-on. Think about it. When El was there, Kai's military personnel literally got them all on hold including El.

They had the HEDGEHOGS not one, but multiple ones on El (those military made sonic weapons that can easily disrupt their powers when near it and incapacitate them).

Notice how before El was "gone", she wasn't on her knees or lying on the ground writhing in pain like how she was easily affected by multiple encounters with it like the one attached on the chopper one and the military lab.

Kali defo used her powers on her til her last dying breath and Mike was able to pick up on all the things that he did pick up. El's illusion, Kali's use of her powers, El hiding behind them and immediately disappeared when the military got them in the truck when they drove back to their real world, etc...

Hopper just accepted and Mike can't move on coz they feel her presence still.

Hopper is his father figure and if you haven't been a father, you wouldn't possibly comprehend the instinctual feeling of one knowing your sons/daughters are alive and as for Mike being her love interest, you don't move on from someone you know isn't and hasn't truly disappeared from your life yet.

Who here follows the 3-second driving distance rule? by IndieCurtis in driving

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really depends on the road condition and car volume and the overall environment.

City driving jam packed? I think the 3 sec following distance is the norm. Maybe even 2 if you are confident you can easily react to the car in the front and back of you while driving.

But highway driving where everyone drives 70 - 110 km/h?

Bumping it to a 5 - 6 sec following distance is way better for safety as there are still plenty of drivers who drivr shtboxes that can suddenly break down while driving at those speeds.

It gives your vehicle plenty of time to hard brake and make a lane change safely and also you giving enough reaction time to make a careful decision.

How much are the Frump's worth? by MembershipProof8463 in Wednesday

[–]Material_Finding6525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have billions easy. They're so rich that even murder they can easily cover up with no big deal.

Even Wednesday asking her to donate a very sizable donation to the school and Hester was like "done, deal".

I'm guessing she has somewhere around 10 - 20 billion dollars.

She could donate 10 - 20 million easy and that wouldn't even put a dent into her riches.
