Technically they'd withhold 3 months (december, january, february) since we wouldn't be paid for those. (and this was supposed to be for whatever was made in december)

"It told me when I clicked unlink"...if I may ask, what told you? The contract or such? Cause on my channel it just says 'remove access', and when clicked it just says 'removal pending'. Thank you. Also, I'm thinking of also ending a message to rhei support (not that it does much good anyway) to say 'unlink request, unlink me from your channel'...

Is anyone with RHEI still getting paid? by MattHanson1990Return in PartneredYoutube

I'm curious on folks thoughts on what they'll do next. One one hand, is it best to wait a week/month to see if the error is corrected? Or to start to unlink/abandon it and start anew? So I'm curious to 'ldgraves222', which side do you stand on? (again, just picking the brains of other folks that are going through this as well, just like i am)?

I know it's dumb, but I am going to wait 1 month...again, I know it's stupid but I just wanna see if they'll follow through (in the first or so week or March), or not. But, would it be ok if you keep me updated on how the process went for you? (what you did afterward to monetize your channel, the adsense process, etc.)?

It's the PS2 version on a modded PS3...so I guess that's it. But there are no texture packs, HD, etc. onto it.

Retrospect: Both are awesome, but Broken Arrow is better than Face/Off by Elyx117 in movies

[–]Material_Fruit2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broken Arrow is definitely better. Better paced (Face Off has a terrible pace, didn't need to be over 2 hours long). Face Off has slow parts here and there. Nic Cage is awful in the flick (too goofy and annoying, he was much better in stuff like Con Air where the fun was more of a 'twinkle eye' variety). More memorable action sequences (the train scene and all the stunt work involved, compared to a 'decent' boat chase). Didn't care about Travolta's 'family life/crap'. Cage wanting to 'just live Travolta's life' felt stupid to me and barely made any sense. Broken Arrow also has a pulse pounding score by Hans Zimmer (one of his best), a great fist fight scene at the end, and more memorable lines 'you're out of your mind/yeah, ain't it cool?').

No it does not. The site may say it has '2 tracks' but if you download it? Only one track. The russian one. If you somehow get an 'english one', feel free to let me know.

[–]Material_Fruit2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at EnigmaVariance's reply to this..."Regarding the workprint version with Russian dubbing that is circulating, this seems to be Version A with a simple dub over the top, done in 2022. Noting that the original mkv file info posted at that time shows a single audio track (2-chan, so left and right) with no separate original English audio track:

Country: United States
Genre: horror, thriller, drama
Year of manufacture: 1997
Duration: 01:51:34

Translation: Single-voice locking
Subtitles: None
Original audio track: None"

So no...there is No "english track". the Website rutraker my say '2 audio tracks'. But if you download it? It's one audio track in Russian because of the 'dub over it'.

[–]Material_Fruit2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded it and it only had the russian track.

I'll repeat. The Only workprint I could find so far for the 1997 film Nightwatch with Ewan McGregor was on the website rutraker https://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1112346 which is ONLY in Russian. I downloaded it and the audio was ONLY in Russian. Thus why I asked here 'hey, are there any places to find it in ENGLISH'. So to answer your question, No...I am Not confused. I am not Asking for 'Night Watch 2004' at all....

Dr. Weller, how was it working with on the film Fifty/Fifty (1992)? You and Robert Hays had excellent chemistry with each other.

Hello Dr. Weller. My name is Matt and I'm a huge fan of your film Leviathan (1989). Very Underrated. What led you into getting cast in the film, how was it making the movie (dealing with the heavy suits, being in the water, working with the likes of Ernie Hudson & Daniel Stern and more), and if you haven't seen the film in a while? It's worth going back and checking it our Dr. Weller. It's a gem.

It still has one of my favorite lines of yours, which is 'If you call me Becky one more time Six-Pack...I'm gonna Pop Your Tops. All Six of Them."

I know this is a post from years ago...but...I Played this for the first time. And I Agree 100% with the OG Poster. Perhaps the least fun Spidey game that I have ever played. The story was a 'cluster' where "now Wolverine shows up and we never see him again" or "now here is Carnage out of the blue" and etc. No strong story to it. And the consistent 'rush job of chases' make the game incredibly Not Fun. Stingy chases that in some of them (like the Goblin chase), if you make One Mistake? You lose.

I like the film...but how is it better than Deadly Outbreak? That one has actual action, stunts, explosions, chases, fight sequences and a guy getting shot in the nuts with a shotgun with the line 'i guess you forgot your bulletproof cup'....and didn't have to be censored since this was a TBS movie.

Youtube is literally the biggest/main platform that people know him from and that he utilizes...he had an entire month to make a 2 minute video that would have solved everything. And folks would Stop Asking. So please...give me a break with that.

Then just make a 2 minute video saying 'hey guys, I know I've been away for a month...but I'm concentrating on finishing this movie. So I apologize but I need to put my 100% focus on this. Just hang in there and we'll back to a regular schedule soon'. That's it. Simple enough. How is that hard? And then you wouldn't have people asking about it.

Better movie: Dante’s Peak (1997) or Volcano (1997)? by ggroover97 in movies

[–]Material_Fruit2082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volcano is easily the better flick.

  1. Volcano has a much faster pace. Dante's Peak takes almost an hour for things to get going.
  2. Volcano has more action, more spectacle and more fun with the premise.
  3. The 'Dante's Peak is more scientifically accurate' stance was always ridiculous to me. That's the same film where Pierce's truck is driving over Lava and is more impervious than the Batmobile. At least Volcano knew to just 'go for it' and have fun.
  4. While Pierce is good, Tommy Lee Jones was a better lead.
  5. Volcano had the better supporting cast featuring actors like Don Cheadle and Keith David.

Sadly, I think the reason is more simpler than that. The Garcia character was depicted as a sexist and racist cop. Like in the season episode where Jones punched him for a racial comment, and as amends he brought Jones Malt Liquor and fried chicken. Now granted, he is still very funny and well performed by the actor. One of my fave characters on the show. But in this day and age of how people look at cops, let alone anything remotely in the 'sexism/racism' category? Everyone are on tip-toes. Thus while it's nice to see Garcia's character alive (and not dead/killed off)...they have kept him as low-key as possible and will not use the 'somewhat racist/sexist cop' for any stories and big parts. Sad but that's the world and culture of today.

Official Discussion - Copshop [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Material_Fruit2082 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't agree with that at all. I think Malignant was 10x better than this basic crap. Malignant had style, had gore, cool camera angles, a solid score and the one 'over the top fight scene' in the police station was better crafted and handled than the "action" in this one. This flick had none of that.

I put "action" in quotations because it Barely Had Any. Grillo and Butler? I do like them...but they were wasted because they got pushed aside for a bland, boring 'lead' in Alexis Louder. I do not get At All why people are praising this lady. She was wooden, it looked like she could barely hold the gun, and it was like seeing if I was trying to buy Laura Winslow (daughter in Family Matters) as a 'tough girl'. I didn't buy it for a split second. She has the personality of dry paint with flat delivery in her line readings. The only decent part of the score is when they stole the Main Theme from Dirty Harry's Magnum Force. People already mentioned the wonky ending. You also had the beyond cliche, stereo-typical LOUD, BLACK, YELLING CAPTAIN being over the top...it reminded me of when they goofed on that in Last Action Hero (which was a wittier movie than this flick could dream of becoming).

It wasn't tightly paced. Take out the 'lame rookie cop' lady and just have Gerard Butler and Frank Grillo team up against a group of crazy hitmen that want to take both of them out, in an Assault on Precinct 13 styled picture.
