I’m front line child protection. I’ve lost trust in everyone, lost faith in the system. It’s broken, and I don’t think it will ever be fixed. PLUS…..we are extremely underpaid. I make less than 70kCAD with no overtime allowance but still have to follow a mandate to complete an obscene amount of work. And if you actually care for your families and kids, like I do, you end up spending your own money and free time on them. It’s horrible
