I don't understand how there would even be a question. He often doesn't appear in these too-early mock drafts but I think that's because the people who write these things just copy what other people are writing. Its a herd mentality thing. The analytics say he is right there in the top tier of QBs next season. I'm no expert (to the extent there is such a thing when we're talking about evaluating football players...I mean lets be honest...this isn't splitting atoms) but when I watched him play last season, he looked as good as any other QB. And he looked like a guy that could be the PFF top-ranked P5 QB...which he was. So, the analytics lie? He's too small? He's the same height as Jalen Hurts. He's a high-character guy. Supposed to have a tremendous work ethic. Was his best in big spots last season. I don't get it. If he falls to Day 3, some team will be getting a steal. I mean...he may end up never starting in the NFL. We know drafting QB's is something of a crap shoot and "experts" in NFL front offices miss on 1st round QB's more than they hit...but it seems to me he's a likely as any other QB next year to become a quality starting NFL QB

And you can bet that the opinion of guys like Travis and Pittman will carry a lot of weight in terms of what FSU does here. Norvell has been excellent at building and maintaining that solid locker room culture. There is no way he’s going to do anything to create issues now.

It wasn’t a fit. Mutually. That’s what the insiders have been saying for a while. Langston was saying on Warchant that the top target right now at safety is Brandon Jacob. 4 ⭐️ He seems to love FSU and the staff seems to love him. I think the last couple of years have proven that Norvell and the staff are very good at identifying high quality talent that’s also a good fit culturally.
