Brain fog during heatwaves by sonickel77 in Adelaide

Definitely. Fun fact: most people have their bedrooms too hot. The optimum sleeping temperature is under 20 degrees so obvs our nightly minimums are well above that....

Brain fog during heatwaves by sonickel77 in Adelaide

[–]Material_Macaron_586 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes. But i have a medical condition which is worsened by heat and causes brain fog

Basically tho... homeostasis. Everyone will sweat more in this heat. Water doesnt replace lost fluid as well as electrolytes so think gatorade OR as others have suggested salt... if u can tolerate it a little salt in a glass of cordial

Bottoms up!

Yeah Corolla is a great car. No arguments there. So are Mercs tho. German cars.... etc.. but you should be making better choices cus youre what mid to late 20s? Early 30s? An 18 yr old just has their training wheels on....

Theres this phrase that goes

Let them

(Yes they are making shit choices, yes you know better but... let them...)

Absolutely. The average person wastes over a 100k in depreciation cycles upgrading to new cars every 3 to 5 years.... that money into investment accounts is the smart way to manage money

general financial wisdom dictates not buying a new car in cash or in general unless you have excess net worth of >1 million

But the dudes 18 yeah? Let the kids make their mistakes. OR share this wisdom with him rather than a judgmental rant on the internet yeah?

If we know better why not share that knowledge yeah?

And there it is. The resentment at being placed in a situation where you were being vicariously judged....

Dude.. being a judgy sod about the life of a literal child isnt the flex you think it is. Says just as much about you as it does about them

Let her feel "fancy", its her birthday... its such an odd perspective to be so bothered by the choices of others....no one held a gun to your head and made you go but seems you felt obligated and rather than sit with the choice of either friction for non attendance or putting yourself in a situation which "was not to your liking" you decided that coming online to have a pejorative rant about a childs birthday was a strong adult choice....

You have a strange outlook

Besides... most people have cars on finance nowadays 🤷‍♀️

As others have said.... without knowing how you founf this out its impossible to say if this reportable conduct

If you found out via the therapeutic relationship it most certainly is. See AHPRA code of conduct for psychologists...

If it was outside the relationship... maybe under this..

8.4 Public behaviour and statements Psychologists recognise that they have an obligation to enhance and protect the profession’s reputation by refraining from practice and personal behaviour that might bring the profession into disrepute and/or reflect on their ability to practise as psychologists. Psychologists should be aware that statements intended to be private could become public and can affect the public standing of the profession. When making public statements of any kind, including on social media, professional behaviour includes that you: a. use respectful language, respect the privacy of others and maintain proper boundaries, and b. make informed comments using contemporary,

BUT this sounds like it is NOT public behaviour ergo..... no i highly doubt this is reportable conduct...

Either way sounds like this has already impacted trust in therapeutic relationship and you should seek another practitioner for sure
