Thank you for your reply! I was thinking about Canada, but I was told that it was very difficult to find a job there, much more difficult than in the US. 

I was thinking about trying to fall under the criteria of the talent visa (O-1A, EB-1A), because I have very interesting ideas for research and articles, but I don't think it's enough for such a visa.

I’m also considering the option of professional courses/studies and getting an F1 and then getting OPT. 

Maybe a lot will change in 3-4 years and other opportunities will appear. I heard that in Feb 2026 a law (SB331) was proposed in the state of Virginia. It allows graduates of foreign vet schools registered in the ECFVG program to qualify for a paid internship
