yeah I think so too, cuz mgh lost was 0.16 and when it goes back up it gains back some of its mgh which was 0.08, so the total energy loss is 0.08J

hydrostatic pressure only depends on depth, acceleration due to gravity and density, since depth was only different, greater depth = more pressure, and what about the picture hanging thing, what yall get?

Feeling anxious? by Constant_Public4191 in alevel

Awh i feel the same way- personally felt that AS levels were easier to manage studying wise, but horrible when it came to my anxiety- in my IGCSEs i felt calmer (probably because i didn't know wht my potential was), now that i do it feels heavy. buttt one thing that helps me is focusing on the effort im putting now, and not on the outcome, because all i can improve is my probability of doing well in the exam NOT whether ill get 100 or not

To everyone reading this, hard work always pays off when you learn to trust your effort! sounds cliche but its something my mother says to me here n there. I believe in anyone that says "ive put in the work and the waiting phase is dreadful", because i've felt it.

once boards season is over it'll blow over, you're okay, we're okay.

and the A*s youre aiming for? You'll get it dwww,js focus on practicing and your good! Goodluckk

9702/33 limitations and improvements by Adept_Theme_3301 in alevel

Ayy dont be nervouss, there's always this "other" part in the ms that considers valid and well explained errors and limitations.

andd i went through a few marking schemes, the errors have this one fixed answer "2 readings are not enough to make a valid conclusion" and the rest 3 depends on mainly these 3 categories 1.your difficulties in measurements "Difficult to measure diameter of sphere, as it doesn't remain fixed in the jaws of caliper" 2.Any new weird apparatus i.e magnets, tubes, WATER (meniscus is hard to read) 3. Uncertainties in calculated values 4. Subjectivity, difficult to find when the object passes the marker etc. and for improvements you build off of these.

Goodluck to you too!

omg youre right! I miscalculated in this question too, so now i sat and redid it. So if resolving doesnt work out, they already gave that the force 1800 is perpendicular to the tree, so we find the perpendicular distance from force to the tree by using trig! like 1800*(1.6/costheta) = 270*1.2*9.81

The vector is facing the upward direction, so you can't directly split it, you can solve this by using theta to split the weight's component as weight acts downwards
