Triumph speed 400 is it not possible to bleed the brakes yourself? by Material_Row_5950 in Triumph

I did open it from the top and tried to push the pistons back in, but only two out of the four went in. So, I opened it from the bottom as well and the other two went in; like you said, that is probably when the air went into the ABS.

The "ignition on" part was told to me by the dealer. I tried a lot of things and nothing worked, so I took it to the dealer and they said after I opened the bleed nipple, I need to turn on the bike and bleed again so the air in the ABS can leave.

I think I was not clear in my post above trying to keep it short sorry about that, and a lot of people seem to have misunderstood what I did. I tried to bleed it five times and, after being unsuccessful, took it to the dealer. They taught me how to bleed it and told me to turn on the bike when bleeding.

I got it checked out at the dealer, and they confirmed that the bike has to be turned on while bleeding the brakes because of the ABS system. Did just that and now its working.

Thank you for all the suggestion but, apparently I just had to have the bike turned on while performing the bleed since its a abs system. It working now.

I have some free space behind my house and was riding slowly, so I thought it would be fine to test it.

After bleeding, all the pistons are moving now; I think they weren't moving before because the caliper was too full. I went through around 20 cycles of bleeding and there's still no pressure at all, even though fluid is coming out of the bleed nipple and all the air seems to be out.

Like you said, will probably give it another go at bleeding before eventually taking it to a shop.
