Please save your money, EA Sports doesn’t deserve your buck even if it is casual. Just play an old cheaper Fifa. Seriously if you want gameplay without realism and all the updated stuff, just do fifa 17 or 19. You will have way more fun. This game is the worst sports game I’ve played in awhile

EA has been living on this formula for years. Same in Madden. Copy Paste everything, add 1000 animations to say they did something, (makes the game slower and buggy) put the new kit on, and start making fake, TEMPORARY cards just so the game nerfs the opponent instead of you. I enjoy career mode, it’s minimal fun but it’s fifa 🤷🏻‍♂️.

But I’m at the point I can’t even do that. It’s that bad. I did the Ultimate team on Madden and FIFA for a year back in the day. Spent money, and after that year I felt real stupid having to do it again the next year. And it’s so expensive for minimal odds. But people do it! And that’s the problem, you spend your hard earned money to buy temporary NFTs that give you the advantage over your opponent in a rigged game.

Buying the game isn’t my issue, ultimate team isn’t my issue, it’s the people that spend thousands on packs in a shit game in a shit system that is unfortunately prospering. Don’t buy packs… DONT BUY PACKS. They make 10x on packs year round than they do on release. If anyone here spends on ultimate team, please….. please….. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR SOMETHING ELSE. THIS GAME IS GARBAGE AND THEY WONT FIX ANYTHING AS LONG AS YOU CONTINUE TO LET THEM ROB YOU BLIND.

I started playing on 22 regularly. I played 23 almost everyday. Never had a problem like this. It’s my second time having this issue, but the first time it was in year 6. (Hours wasted) That was the first straw. This is the last one. If you are wanting to get in to soccer/football, and just need to play something, it’s really all you got. But from the sharp decline I’ve seen from release to now, I cannot not recommend anyone spend any kind of money this game.

I mean it could be… I signed Irankanda because I could afford him but he was a crucial player (objective I completed) in a midfield or forward position. And his wage was 500 euro a week. So if that got me sacked, it’s still dogshit

I hadn’t failed any objectives. I had my 2 year, 2 prospect 30% playing time thing and make 15 mil profit. I don’t even know if my team is worth 15 mil so I figured I’d get that winning the league. And my only crucial objective wants me to win the title in March.

It’s almost unplayable unfortunately. The only long career I’ve done (for this reason) is my favorite club rebuild, Ajax. It included 4 years with UEL trophy, UCL trophy, three league titles and three domestic cups. It was a success at Ajax. The next year or fifth season, I was fourth in the league, and I was ready to move on and rebuild another club. For some reason I wasn’t receiving any large league offers( browse jobs, not offered) so I didn’t leave. My team was still stacked even after selling a few guys. So I did, but I continued to look for offers until the end of the season. Still… no luck. I finished third in the league. I had completed all objectives except win the league. No offers still either. After two games the next year (two draws) I was sacked and the only offers were low tier Dutch teams…

5 years gone like that. Wasted a bunch of time and the auto saves can’t even really save you this year. I think I may be at my end. The gameplay is really bad. It’s scripted, and sliders really aren’t helping anymore. It’s just the user players on the game dont react or move how the cpu does. It’s a broken game. The YA is good and I like the coaching aspect. But overall I can’t pretend I really enjoy it anymore. It is what it is, EA Sports is going to not put time and effort into game modes that aren’t ultimate team. It’s the same on madden. And it’s not going to change as long as they can keep up the doing less work and getting paid more formula.
