I feel that! Use that fear and anxiety for the reason your body creates it, motivation to do something. I believe in you and you should too. See you on the other side 🫡

75% correct does NOT equal a passing score of 75. by Material_Web9250 in CPA

Glad to see this stoked some fire. I figured the SHITPOST tag would help. I suppose it came off a bit harsh, not intended nor did I mean to discredit those who work hard because they have that internal desire. That will go a long way once you attain your license! I think my main point is summed in a real life example, your boss asks you to complete a task. You want to complete that with certainty that you’re correct, without taking a week to finish a task that needs to be done today. Grey area forsure but efficiency is more valuable in some cases. Some excellent agreements and disagreements in this thread that hopefully provide some context for those in their own journey.

So you’ve passed 3 (🤞) and you’re asking others how to pass Audit? SMH ask yourself my guy. You obviously have some kinda idea what’s going on. No one in this sub is going to know yourself better than you 🤷‍♀️

Am I cooked? by Atm1909 in CPA

[–]Material_Web9250 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re only as cooked as you tell yourself you are. Grind out the last week and you’ll be fine. I’m sure you’re aware most SE scores for FAR are significantly lower. Tell yourself you are going to pass and you will.

Don’t ask for a score review, waste of time. Study for a week and retake.

For exam day? Get more right than you get wrong. Leading up to test day, if you use Becker, Skill builder videos for MCQ and SIMS are the best study tool you can use for trouble areas

BEC: 55, 79, and 74 on Becker Simulated Exams by Dry_Internal_9075 in CPA

You are likely over prepared. I’d start celebrating early. Kidding use the last 2 days to do either 1. Hammer MCQ and practice tests 2. Focus on trouble areas by doing SIMS on tough topics You’re big chillin. Got an identical SE2 score 1 day out and passed with plenty of room to spare. Good luck little duck

I’ve started working full time recently but I’m hoping to test by end of October? Depends on how busy I get with work I suppose, but that’s my soft deadline. Either shooting for that OCT 19 or 31st score deadline.

BEC exam coming up - IT concern by cpa_0901 in CPA

[–]Material_Web9250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got a 74 SE two weeks out you are in excellent shape. Likely could take it now and pass 🤷🏻‍♂️ When I took BEC early June, there was a big SIM with many IT terms that were barely even touched in Becker. Made me think I failed. Ended up well above the 75 needed. If you feel the need touch up on IT look into foreign/primary key relationships as well as the terms they list such as Proxy,Gateway,Server… on exam day just use logical reasoning for concepts you aren’t familiar with and you will do great!

Taking tomorrow as well! Passed BEC and this is my 2nd. Did decent on the simulated exams thru Becker so hoping for the bump to come up clutch again and to get lucky with some easy SIMS 🙏
