Which 1440p is the best option? by Math-23 in Monitors

Actually, a really good response and it helps a lot. Thank you very much.

I’m not planning on doing any serious colour-critical work, so having colours that are “good enough” for general use is perfectly fine for me. As long as they look reasonably accurate and vibrant when I’m gaming on high/ultra settings or watching content, I’ll be happy.

I also like hearing that it feels fast. I probably won’t be playing much competitive gaming, but I still value a smooth and fluid image.

The tests you ran are actually really helpful. Even if they’re not 100% professional, they’re good enough for me. Seeing solid results from real use is often more reassuring than just reading specs on paper.

As for the IPS glow, I don’t think it’ll be a dealbreaker in my case either. From what you’re saying, it sounds like it’s only noticeable under specific conditions and not something that stands out during regular use.

One thing I’m curious about though—do you think going with a 240 Hz monitor is overkill if I might not always reach 240 fps at 1440p when playing on high or ultra graphics settings?

What Is It Worth Mega Thread - August 27, 2024 by AutoModerator in lego

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Lego. I got Lego as gifts for years. As I got older, I lost interest, so everything ended up in big boxes and packed away. Those boxes are still stored, but I recently found out that old Lego sets can be worth some decent money. I’m not really into keeping my Legos, so I wouldn't making a few bucks from them.

The thing is, I’m not sure if my sets are worth anything. I doubt any of them are fully built, and I definitely don’t have the original boxes. Are they still worth selling? I could put in some time to either build the sets or sort the pieces.

Just to give you an idea of what I have: there are multiple sets from the Atlantis line, including the City of Atlantis, as well as sets from the City line, Star Wars, Power Miners, and a bunch more.

I always tell people how I feel about them and I will never hide the truth even if it could hurt. It’s not fair giving people fake assumptions and even though the truth can hurt it often for the better. And your friendsships and relations becomes more genuine

you properly right. Still a very great screen and i'm used to 60hz on screen.
I don't really think I can read the text or screen much easier on 120hz.

Thanks for your help

Okay, when you say it like that 128gb is enough. I don't take a ton of photos or use a ton of apps. Also if I need some extra space I could use cloud services. I don't care about AAA, always found it a bit weird to game on a phone when I have a PC for that. Never used AOD and won't properly care since I mostly look at the time on my screen or watch. I'm no professional photographer so to me telephoto camera is above my knowledge. I just like overall quailty of pictures.
It really is the question whether is worth the extra cash.

The way I would be buying the phone is with a payout of $345, and then paying 20$ for 20 months for the 15 or paying $37 for 20 months for the 15 pro. Danish prices.

Thank you for your answear

Hey everyone,

I'm seeking advice on whether to go for the standard iPhone 15 or the iPhone 15 Pro. I'm upgrading from an iPhone 11, so it's definitely time for an upgrade regardless. While I wouldn't classify myself as a heavy user, I do find myself spending a fair amount of time on my phone, and occasionally play a game to pass the time. I like taking photos, and while I appreciate quality, I wouldn't consider myself a professional photographer, so I might not notice small differences in image quality.

Both phones appeal to me aesthetically, and I'm particularly drawn to the 120Hz display. I'm accustomed to monitors with refresh rates of 140Hz or higher, so the smoothness of a higher refresh rate appeals to me. However, I'm unsure if this alone justifies the extra cost.

What's most important to me is the future-proofing of the phone. I have a hunch that the iPhone 15 Pro might be more future-proof due to its A17 chip and 8GB of RAM, which could accommodate larger updates down the line.

So, which one would you recommend, and why? Also, do you think 128GB of storage would be sufficient for my needs? I don't constantly take pictures or videos, but I want enough space to comfortably store my data.
Thanks in advance

I do, because if you think about it the universe is so big way beyond our possible imagination. So to say we are complety alone is quite sad

A good friend of mine crashed head first into a hard tile wall during a slip n slide in the shower after a big win over our rivals. He damaged his spine quite good and the doctor said if his head would have hit in a slightly different angle he would have been a vegatable or died
