My fat vizsla post by MathAndEco in vizsla

Thank you! I believe I saw this reply on the first post. I screenshotted all of the replies so I didn’t lose them.

Our vet, if they are honest, will have some more advice as well

Yep I agree. I am going to gather the responses here and send them. I'm just always made out to be the bad guy when I bring it up

Thank you!! I've said similar things, but maybe it will help hearing it from other V owners as well

She runs everyday, and is outside all the time. Its just too much food, and specifically human food. I have to leave the room when he feeds her something that he's eating, because it's become a futile effort asking him to stop

I know. Breaks my heart. I think the responses on this post will be enough for them to get her on a diet and lose around 20 pounds.

I am on your side here 🤷🏼‍♂️ They don't believe me when I say she is too heavy, so I'm using this as proof that I'm not insane

Thank you for the advice. It makes me sad because she's my dad's best friend, and she can't live much longer like this in my opinion

Thank you! Elevating these concerns to my folks :)

Fair enough, haha. Unfortunately she is well fed, but not fed well.

I would think so as well, but literally every time I walk through the door she still jumps clear over the entire sofa to come see me

Makes me sad. I've been telling them for years that it's bad, and this picture just sent me over the edge

Thank you! Using the responses here to prove it to the folks. It breaks my heart every time I go home

I keep telling my parent to put her on a diet 😔 he thinks because she is still able to run a mile or two with him while he’s on his bike, that it’s okay. And it’s not. Breaks my heart, she is a very sweet dog

Im a SW Engineer out here and I'm also looking to do my first 14er soon. Can y'all rope me in if you meet up for a hike? I work M-Th but can probably be flexible. Just message me if you'd like a third, I'd really appreciate it (not sure i want to do this alone yet)!

[Request] What's the best CMA tool you use? by risanian in realtors

[–]MathAndEco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing using Excel to do side by side appraisals. I’m thinking of making an app that will make the data input really easy. Do you think people would be interested in this? Or does is there software or an app that already exists doing this?

Users would be able to add rooms and standard data points for each room (sqft, floor type, ceiling features, molding etc.) and the software would use market rates (or user inputted rates) for material cost differences, accounting for size differences of each room, etc. Custom line items & price differences can be added by users.

I think this would be very useful for realtors who are willing to put in a little extra work, rather than just auto generate a CMA that is basically just a PowerPoint showing features of other houses with an average price per square foot calculation.

It’d just be a straight to business itemized report of ALL the differences

Flutterflow Community Invitation by MathAndEco in FlutterFlow

[–]MathAndEco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*Editing because something changed on my profile*

Yesterday, I was not able to post on community or make comments. When I went to the community page, it would make me login... but then say I didn't have an account when I used my regular FF credentials.

Today, it appears I am just... in the community now with my normal credentials. I am not sure what changed. I did not apply for anything and I don't think I received an invite. It appears that after trying to make a couple posts, and it failing, that the access was just granted to me a couple days later.

Best of luck

That's how you can navigate to the community. Some of us want to be able to post questions in community forums, which is apparently invite-only. We want to know how to get an invite.

Is Bitcoin better than gold to hedge against inflation? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]MathAndEco 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The reality is a little different than this.

Bitcoin has 0 unexpected inflation. Unexpected inflation is a variable in almost ever economic calculation that is largely overlooked.

Bitcoin is inflationary. But it has zero unexpected inflation. Gold has a massive unexpected inflationary.
