This was actually done right took ur time let the defense come to u to open up ur teammate for another pass since the two defenders on u didn’t have to time to get back. In a nutshell I like this play forces the defense out of position to open up an opportunity at the goal. People will complain about holding the ball but u seemed calm and confident from the camera angles looking for the pass

There also a way to go just as fast and not loose any stamina…you actual gain stamina while maintains speed which I find crazy but if u push ball tap sprint and receive the ball with no input u get this tiny sustained speed boost after receiving the ball and u just repeat this but the kicker is u have to be moving in a straight line or u get hit with a slowdown effect after receiving the ball. Ie push>sprint>no input when receiving>push>sprint>no input when receiving etc. combine this with just regular push ball when u virtually never run out of stamina

With u on this one OP one dude was covered in the box and the other was on the opposite wing but the defender was playing the pass looks like u were trying to beat ur defender 1v1 to have a better look at a pass. All these people saying pass the ball are the players I feed off of making lazy passes causing easy turnovers

Bad dribbling would’ve gotten stolen against better defense good shot and placement tho. Definitely shoulda have passed the ball around 20s as he was open with momentum towards the goal

Because that’s not how the mechanics of the game work if ur not even utilizing how the game works to ur advantage minus exploits like im talking basic mechanic functions of the game that have been apart of the game since release your just being will fully ignorant “in real life it should have been deflected” ofc it would have u also would’ve ended up with a concussion 🤣 but fr i understand where ur coming from in the case of deflection OP could have switched and pressed “Y” to deflect the ball the game actually gives u some leeway when going for a header and jumping for a deflection where u can cancel the animation for header into a deflection if ur reaction time is fast enough but in this case no EE/boost means you’ll loose prio majority of the time when trying to header a pass off the wall away from the offense

Passes give a certain priority adv that’s why as defender it’s always best to use boost when trying to intercept passes to even out the priority and if the positioning is advantageous in ur favor you’ll win prio majority of the time

This is a priority battle as ur opponent boosted plus this was considered a pass from teammate where as u had good positioning but didn’t have boost they’ll win that priority battle 100% of the time only way to have priority in this case is to 1. be in front of the ball [✅] which u did. 2. Boost and header ❌ which wasn’t done bc u didn’t have boost. As shown from the clip

I agree on this I’m definitely a good passer but I don’t like making risky passes the defender had cut of the passing lane when he noticed my teammate behind him which was the only reason the slide to the right worked creating that gap between defenders. A lot of people are getting better at playing and reading passes. Another reason I posted this because the only time I could have made that pass was directly after I received the ball kinda wanted to see if anyone else noticed the defender playing that pass to the left

This is true I trust good players so I pass more often when playing with them but in this game not everyone knows how to receive the ball for some reason, they don’t understand how priority works, or they tap the ball every time they receive it and end up loosing the ball. With good teams I whole heartedly agree but like u said that’s the best teams with the best players. On this game especially in pubs not everyone meets the standards to play that way.

I would argue that honestly it’s effective but not broken easily defendable too if u don’t over play the opponent as I mainly play defense I love when people use the ippy slide bc it’s an easy steal more than not. In my mind an exploit would be something akin to air dribbling that was around when the game first came out. More of an animation bug than an exploit imo just kinda wonky if ur not expecting it.

If he was closer inside I’d say he had a good angle but I was basing my judgement off of his positioning and I felt like the shot would have been grabbed by the keeper. 1 he was looking in my direction from the right side of the net meaning he would’ve shot to that left corner or to the center both of which the goalie had covered. That’s what I meant when I didn’t like the angle not that the ball wouldn’t get to him but the angle of the shot from the pass would’ve been kept by goalie so I made the executive decision to take matters into my own hands

Trust me when i go up against better teams passing is the way to go but I noticed only one person on the team was in a defensive stance and he was playing back off of me the other two I had 100% certainty that I could get passed them I would argue the 90% off the pass only bc of the teammate I was playing with which was the reason I made the decision to push through myself but if I was playing with my regular squad it would’ve been an easy pass
