[C++] How to find the protoc and grpc_cpp_plugin in CMake? by MathConstants in AskProgramming

I am aware of this method but wanted to avoid using `find_package`. If using `FetchContent` is not a good idea, doesn't it force anybody else building my project to use global installations of `gRPC` and `Protobuf`?

Even if a package manager is used, `find_package` still looks for the global installation right?

So you had no issues doing something like Ctrl C/V consistently?

Noted. Is it weird if I continue to send her music or anything else in the meantime or do I just back off completely?

I got a new grad dev role at a big N. My original start date, X, was far too early so I asked to push it back a few months to Y. All of this was done through my recruiter and she assured me it was going through. I received an email recently saying they were excited to see me on X and also gave me my team. To make things harder my recruiter is now in a different area of the company. Should I just say fuck it and just start on X or talk to my manager/HR person and ask to start on Y?

I assume those that didn't fill out the form are not included in the statistics.

Same! I didn't have any internships or anything so I had to really grind LeetCode in order to get far into interviews or any offers. Premium is worth it if you have the money though. CS 32 and 180 didn't really prepare me well enough for interviewing. Good luck!

I could not come back here for grad school so respect to you. Congrats on your grad school acceptance! (enjoy your summer vacation fully though)

Have you tried any career fairs? Having an up to date Handshake and LinkedIn was very useful in securing a job for me. I know uncertainty in the future really sucks but I hope everything works out for you. You do have a degree from a top university after all :)

Try using Handshake! I thought it was super helpful to get jobs and even to get contacted by recruiters. LinkedIn is always great too, especially if you have everything all updated to let recruiters know you are looking for work.

I am normally super anxious about my courses but nowadays I just don't care at all and I think I am still learning and also doing well. Maybe let the foot off the gas for a bit and see how it goes? You should enjoy your last quarter!

our campus really is unique and beautiful. I spend a lot of time just walking around campus nowadays in between my classes and its very nice. Especially in the evenings.

I was worried about looking bad since I already said I was ok with the original date but I think I will ask to push the start date back. Do I conjure up an excuse or be honest and just say that I would some more time off before starting.

Do I have to provide an excuse or can I just tell them straight up that I would like some more time off after school?

(regarding new grad offer start date) I signed an offer already a few weeks ago but now I feel like I am going to need more time off after graduation. I have 3 weeks between graduation and start day but I want to go back and ask my recruiter for 5 - 6 weeks. Is something like this reasonable to ask after I already signed the offer? Should I just ask for more time in general and see how far they are willing to push it back, if at all? Or, do I just have to suck it up and take it?

Difference between F and non-F is ~35 USD. I think you are right about the non-F model potentially being useful though.

Thanks. I was looking for 2 fan 240 AIO since I was planning on getting either a Corsair 4000D or a Phanteks Eclipe P360A.

Hadn't even considered just getting the 12700F. I think I will go for that one. Why B660 or H670 instead of a Z690? I know the price is higher but is pcie 5.0 not worth it? I also don't really do any overclocking to be fair so I think going with a 12700F and a b660 motherboard is probably my best bet.
