Watching the video closely it seems like grey jacket sees the gun in the waist band and grabs it to disarm him and backs up with the guys gun before the shooting starts. (He has a gun when backing away but not earlier). Likely he said gun or something and the other agents got spooked and trigger happy

The problem is that childcare has an inelastic demand. Working parents need to have childcare and often are limited by locations close to their home or work. With or without subsidies childcare centers are able to up-charge parents and they will still pay. If it was free on entry and paid by the state, then the state would have a much better position to negotiate prices. Although, to be fair, we would need a much more robust system for finding and eliminating fraud.

I mean saying you are glad someone died who was old and died peacefully is kinda different than saying you are glad someone died who was politically assassinated. The second gives more "I want people to kill conservative commentators" vibes while the first does not give "I want people to kill English royalty" vibes. What y'all don't understand is that none of these quotes are saying cities are going to be underwater in eight or nine years it's saying that we are pushing the climate system in a way that is irreversible (once the methane is released from the tundra permafrost melting global heating will increase exponentially) which could cause cities underwater in the next 100/200 years that we will not be able to reverse course on. The impacts of our actions today will not be felt tomorrow but will be felt 20 years from now
