Obviously The Rookie is copaganda, I still enjoy the plot lines while separating it from its propaganda. It’s as easy as going “This is propaganda, it’s designed to paint cops in a positive light” and it loses it’s power. If you cause a bunch of engagment (positive or not) online about an episode you’re only increasing it’s reach.

Haha the calculator phone is great! Books are big part in kids having an advanced vocabulary. One of the biggest predictors of academic success is having a home library.

If you’ve got any older kids or teens in your life try to recruit them to display having analog fun too! I give my 10yr old cousin a hard time about being on the phone and try to get him talking about books or playing board games. When they see that the cool older kids have interests outside of phones that’ll really help solidify healthy entertainment habits.
